My husband and I decided to eat here for Valentine’s Day due to the crowded restaurants. I am glad we did. The fried seafood is really good, the corn is the bomb, the garlic snow crab legs are not bad but the garlic was too thick in the butted. Will definitely eat here again.

Not bad, could be better. The flavors were really bland and tasteless. It tasted more on the fishy side to me. The portions huge but doesn’t do any justice. Overall, it was a nice experience and the staff was very kind. It was A-OK

Best seafood to go joint ever! It also helps that we only live two blocks away. The crab stew is my favorite, but every thing else is great as well. Yes. I’ve tried almost every thing on the menu. You may be waiting longer than you intended for your food, but it’s worth it, everything is cooked to order and it’s always fresh.

Great southern hospitality! Yummy fresh, blue crabs! We got a dozen & then went back for more the next day. We also tried their crab chowder & fried oysters which were excellent!

Found this little gem via a Groupon deal $ 13 for $ 20 during my foodpalooza in Savannah. Pros: Great prices for the quality and quanity of food you get. Con: The crab cakes were a tad salty I opted for the shrimp basket and a crab cake for a total of $ 11 and had a side of red potatoes. Not bad, not bad at all. Pretty darn tasty. The shrimp were plentiful, the crab cake had nice flavor and plenty of crab meat. The side of potatoes was more than enough to share. My mom had the oysters and fish basket and a crab cake for a total of $ 15 and she enjoyed it. She had about 8 – 10 oysters, a piece of talipia and corn on the cob. She said that for the averge person the oysters might seem a little salty. The staff here were super nice and service was pretty quick. Keep in mind, no option to dine in, take out only. If I were a local, this place would be trouble as I would probably visit a few times a week :)

We snagged a Groupon for Savannah’s Fresh Catch Seafood and made it our last stop on the way out of town. Man it was good. Service was friendly and, as we chowed down on an abundance of fried oysters/shrimp/fish at a nearby park, we were in awe that this place wasn’t more popular. To each his own, I guess, but I’m all about SFCS.

I absolutely love this place. They make an awesome take away Lowcountry boil and I’ve gotten some really good fresh fish from them as well. They will either prepare it for you there, or you can take it home and do it yourself. The place is really reasonably priced, and owned and run by some very nice guys. I took off a star because sometimes the selection of fish isn’t awesome. If you have them prepare something for you, make sure you ask them to put the butter on the side, otherwise it will come slathered in butter.

Crab Stew… Whoa! Salt overdose! Fried fish & Oysters — breading, another salt overdose. No condiments were were provided either(ie. ketchup, tartar sauce, etc.- you won’t need any salt ;)) — so you may need to ask for them.

This place was simply amazing. After reading reviews I knew I wanted to try their low country boil! We got the $ 40 medium size that was stated to feed 5 – 7 people and $ 30 worth of snow crab. Everything was delicious and the 3 of us barley put a dent in the food! The staff was super nice and took time to explain the menu and our options. When our food was ready the guy that prepared it carried the large pan to the car for us! Excellent customer service and great food. I will be back every time I visit Savannah and pray they open one in my hometown!

I almost don’t want to write a positive review for this amazing place because I want it to stay a secret, but that would just be wrong. This place is awesome. If you love good seafood, I have no doubt you will love this place.

Delicious food! I am surprised this place only has 23 reviews! This is a take out place, no eat in seating — which was perfect because we were looking for food to take back to our hotel to eat. When you walk in it looks like a seafood market counter. You place your order and they get your seafood ready fresh. I got the garlic butter country boil and then seasoned boil. Both delicious! They were only $ 9 each!!! And had tons of food — a crab, full corn on the cob, loads of shrimp, a pile of sausage, and a ton of potatoes. The seasoned was better than the butter flavor to me. Just personal preference there. My husband and I are all about quantity and quality instead of super fine dining quality. The seafood was flavorful, fresh, and plentiful so no complaints here. I would definitely come to this place first when I visit savannah again.

Absolutely fantastic! Fresh, delicious, affordable seafood. Low country boil was full of sweet Georgia shrimp, blue crab, sausage, potatoes, corn. Garlic blue crab was so tasty, and the fried scallops, shrimp, and oysters were also fabulous! Going back again to try some of the other menu items. A great find on our Savannah vacation. Highly recommended!

This place is a mile or so out of the historic district and they have thee best shrimp boil in the Southeast. Yes, shrimp boil for $ 8.95 extra sausage $ 2. Shrimp and crab perfectly seasoned. The best coleslaw not to much mayonnaise and too sweet. They make it fresh and pull your shrimp from the counter before they cook as they sell fresh fish as well. It’s in an up and coming part of the city but very safe. Only draw back is that it is take out only. We were staying at a bed breakfast and had come back from tybee island and didn’t feel like going out to dinner so this was perfect.

The seafood is fresh, the prices are right, the meals are amazing and the staff is friendly too! What more could you ask for? My husband and I were just passing through Savannah and wanted to grab some fresh seafood. We only had a few hours in town so we wanted to make the most of it. After reading the great reviews we figured we’d give Savannah’s Fresh Seafood a try. This place did not disappoint!!! It was well worth our stop and I would go out if my way to go here again! I highly recommend the Low Country Boil!!! Tons of food — definitely the best value. I don’t even like shrimp and this shrimp was amazing! The corn was sweet and well seasoned. The fresh blue crap(witch the owner catches fresh himself) was cooked to perfection! I truly wish we lived closer — we would go all the time! You gotta go!

My very first visit was pleasant. I called to place my order so I could just pick my food up without having to wait. The gentleman on the phone answered all of my questions and was friendly. The establishment is very clean and didn’t reek of seafood.(Which shocked me because many seafood stores like this one smell horrible!) Everything looked very fresh as well. The food was good and my meal came with a drink! I also liked the Tartar sauce. I think it has sour cream in it which made it light and flavorful. I will be back soon!
