Spending time in Savannah. Went here based on reviews. This is REAL food, cooked with love. Delicious. We had a Spanish beef dish and pork Adobe. Yummy! Owners are hands on, and are authentic. Has a few tables or take out. Definitely where the locals eat. Highly, highly recommend.

Ok I am a instant fan of this place. I told the owner she really needs to be in Atlanta serving food this damn good. She truly needs to considerate the move or expansion. I will admit that I didn’t know too much about Filipino food but it works. Spanish influence with Asian staples… yes I will be back!

I’m a chicken adobo maniac and this place delivers! Lots of selection at economical prices. Fred and Rose, the owners, are wonderful people who work hard to make their customers feel welcome. If you enjoy Filipino food, this is the place to go!

This has got to be some of the best food I have ever tasted! The place is tiny and has a very homey feeling. The lady, Rose, is absolutely amazing and takes a great care of her customers. Everybody should check out this place. Top food and top service. Definitely coming back!!!

Amazing people! I read the reviews here and didn’t expect to love the food AND the experience! Very humble people with a very delicious menu! The ice cream is to DIE for! The empanadas, MM! I love this place, wish more people would come to this place because these are the people who should be the talk of the town. Price is amazing! I promise you won’t regret it! Or else I’ll buy, hehe. Kidding.

Great little and the only Filipino restaurant in Savannah. Everything we had was full of flavor and delicious. They have great combos and the owner gives your enormous amount of food for what you pay. All the combos are $ 10-$ 12. We got Combo #1: Rice and pork adobo and combo #3: Pansit and 3 egg rolls. The adobo was amazing, full of flavor and my half Filipino friend said it was better than his homemade one. The egg rolls were good too but a little greasy, which is expected. The Pansit was great as well and had a good amount of veggies and meat. For dessert, we got the Halo Halo, which basically mean mix-mix in English. It was the best one I have had so far. Its basically Ube ice cream(the purple ice cream) with shaved ice, lychee flan, coconut flakes and jelly, green jelly and jackfruit. You are supposed to mix it all together when you get it. You can even buy the Ube ice cream tub for $ 15 here. We also bought frozen Saipao packet, which has 4 buns and can be baked at home, for $ 10. The service is great, pretty quick but there are only four tables so it can get crowded and you might have to take the food to go. The owner of the place is a super sweet lady. She was really friendly, explained to us everything and even gave us some kind of Asian fruit to try for free. I definitely recommend this place.

Delicious food. Had the chicken adobo and noodles. Very tasty and plenty of it. All dark meat. Sauce was an interesting blend of sour, sweet and slightly spicy. Keep that in mind you white meat lovers. Order off the selections on the wall. We also had a chicken and veggie lumpia which were good but kind of greasy. We got it to go but there were nice tables inside too. Will return for the yucca fries. m

Came cross this little restaurant by chance. The owner is very nice and explained to us the food there. I’ve never tried Filipino food before. The pineapple drink and yuca fries were delicious. The meat had a sweet and sour flavor which were not our favorite. Overall a great experience.

I was on my way to the airport when I found this amazing Filipino restaurant far away from the historic downtown area; where they take your wallet and the money inside. I was actually going to the sweet spice Caribbean restaurant; which is also excellent. Anyway, the owner was very friendly and talkative and even gave me a food sample. I ordered the Pancet and chicken egg rolls for under $ 8. The portions was huge but I took my time to eat everything. I highly recommend this restaurant over the faceless chains like Chipotle etc. I will be back to this place the next time I visit Savannah. I am now hoping to find a decent Filipino restaurant in the Denver/Boulder area.

I was looking for a new place to eat and came across this restaurant, read some of the reviews and decided to take a chance. Boy was it worth it!!! I had never tried Filipino food and for the first time I couldn’t ask for anything better. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted with a hello and welcome! I was asked if I had ate Filipino food before I responded with a no and Rose recommended the pancit. Wow! My taste buds were going crazy! Rose and her husband are so welcoming and nice, adding the extra touch to their delicious food. I will definitely go back!

This is a very cute little restaurant and the owner is so warm and welcoming but I have to say that the food left a lot to be desired. I got the chicken adobo and it was pretty dry and much too sweet for me.

Savannah Filipino Authentic Cuisine 5515 Waters Ave Savannah Georgia 31404 Tel 912−201−3541 Fax 912−201−3551 After going to a movie(Mad Max Fury Road) my daughter asked me if I thought Filipino food sounded good? The last time I had had any was in Hawaii when we lived there, so YES! We were greeted at the door by Rose Marie, the owner of the restaurant, the place is small, and very much like you eating at a friends home, very friendly and inviting. Rose told us about all her foods showed us many and boy was she enthusiastic and fun to talk to. She made she knew our names, and after dinner, she got a hug, like after a old dear friend had just fed us. I got a Combo #3 Spring rolls and Pancit Daughter got Adobo Grandson got Inasal We all shared family style as grandson was new to Filipino food. He loved it. We all had a pork manapoa(steamed rice buns delicious also called humbows or even Chinese Steamed Buns) When we finished, we got 4 more manapoa’s to go, and spring rolls. Rose tossed is a delicious deep friend beef stick in a spring roll type wrapper… no idea what it is, but next time, definably find out and get a order of them, spring roll and manapoa. Yes, Rose Marie, we will be back. If any one wondering if this place is open. yes it is, with enthusiastic owner operator Rose Marie… It is a simple place, but very good. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. We not only took home leftovers, but ordered extra food to go… yes, it is that good.

Fred and Rose are such wonderful folks! They welcomed me warmly and made me feel like family immediately as I walked in the door! Rose takes a lot of pride in her food and it shows through the execution of Authentic Filipino food. As a Filipino myself, I am a tough critic of Filipino food because I compare everything to my mother’s food(who is an amazing cook!). Rose’s dinuguan and adobo were spot on with flavor and the portions were generous! Delicious and authentic food with loving«open arms» hospitality will bring me back any time I am in Savannah. I recommend that you find your way off the beaten path to visit and have a delicious meal of your own! Salamat po! Thank you for your gracious hospitality!

My husband cannot get enough of their food and we live all the way out in Guyton. Large portions and just enough balance of sauce and flavor to keep you hooked. Once you take a bite, you are unable to put your fork down! Major bonus is Rose and her sweet husband remember my husband every single time. They make you feel like you just walked into their home and to pull up a chair and chat a while.

I think this is the only Filipino restaurant in Savannah. If not, let’s just say it is because this is all you need to know. The ladies who run this are your Filipino moms you didn’t know you had and they are waiting to serve you. So sweet and hospitable. They will explain everything to you if the food is foreign to you. If you need somewhere to start, try the lumpia, pancit, adobo or siopao. They have some combos which will give you a taste of a couple of items. Trust them and go for it. Prices are decent and the food is solid. Take heed — they are only opened during the week Tues — Fri, 11 – 8. Don’t get your feelings hurt like I have, hoping to get some goodies on the weekend. I truly hope they reconsider opening at least on Saturday. Pretty please?

This place is the absolute best place to eat. I love Rose and her husband she is always super nice and the food is amazing. The only better Fillipino food I ever had is cooked by my mother in law. They give good sized portions and if you are unsure of what to order you can’t go wrong with a pancit combo. I love all their food, and for desert make sure to pick up an ube halo-halo or Leche flan if she has it that day. Some days the food changes cause she makes it fresh everyday. The food is so good that it doesn’t upset me that it isn’t open on the weekends. I love love love this place and will continue to go back till the day my hubby gets a change in station.
