Cadence was amazing!
I’ve been to, literally, every salon in town and I’ve not had a better cut than this one. And color??? Wow — Cadence worked and worked to color-​correct my (admittedly) bad self-​coloring. Like, imagine unintentional multi-​color, dried-​out, white-​at-​the-​roots when I walked in the door and then, wow, natural highlights and big-​time sheen.
Maybe best of all — she listened. Before she did anything we had a thorough consultation, with her asking me many pertinent questions about how I style and what I was looking for. You know how lots of stylists half-​listen to what you’re looking for or — worse — blow the discussion off entirely? Not here. I really can’t say enough. Thanks Cadence!

Was not impressed. Got the blowout Keratin express treatment, but she failed to tell me I could not get hair wet for 24 hrs. I got in pool the next morning so it was a waste. Called the salon 3 times asking for advice, but no response.

Salon Aqua is the best salon in Savannah, period. All the stylists are amazing at what they do, and I always leave feeling a thousand percent better about myself! I work with a lot of people who are relocating to Savannah from other cities, and I always recommend Salon Aqua. My clients are consistently thrilled with their hair and grateful to me for the recommendation.

My stylist, Krysti, is one of the few people I’ve ever met that isn’t scissor-​happy with long hair! She is extremely creative and skilled-​and just an amazing person to be around. A++++ in my book!

Heather the bride had a SHOCKING salon experience the day before, so Aqua was SUCH A RELIEF. First of all, it is GORGEOUS. Tucked under a sweet little house on a pretty street, the décor is clean and modern but without trying to conceal the pretty bones of the house. (GREAT FOR PICTURES!)
As soon as I walked in, I felt like Heather was being surrounded by bridesmaids, that’s how fun, personable, kind, and friendly the staff was. Also, when I walked in, I was nursing QUITE the little hangover. Julie got me an emergen-​c and some water and I felt SO much better.
Heather’s hair and makeup was so freaking great. She isn’t one who generally fusses over that kind of stuff. She got an up-​do with lots of braids, kinda off to one side… and it fit her personality PERFECTLY. Modern, but casual, with a Grecian influence. And that hairstyle stayed in for 15 hours solid.
I asked for a half-​up pin-​up girl do. Lucky for me, the stylist said that was her favorite era! She made this elaborate creation of curls and bouffants… way cooler than I was expecting. Plus, she made my frizzy hair shiny and lustrous :)
When we were leaving, Julie walked us out and stood with us while we waited for our cab, and waved goodbye like she was our longtime friend!

I took my bridesmaids here the day of my wedding and they were fantastic. They provided muffins and mimosas, and closed down the salon so that we were their only clients. They were delightful to work with, reasonably priced, all of our hair styles were beautiful, and the curls stayed in all day. I would highly recommend them to other bridal parties.

Salon Aqua, located in the garden level of a mansion on Gaston St. (the street which is the «official» dividing line between the those homes located in the historic district and those not), has become my salon of choice since moving to Savannah. I get my hair «done» by Kimberly, the owner of the salon. She is one of the few people in Savannah who actually knows how to blow out a girls hair properly (especially one with thick stubborn curls). She is extremely thorough and such a perfectionist, to the point that sometimes appointments can run a tad long. But, for her perfectionism, I am grateful. Not to mention the fact that she is always a pleasure to chat with. The other stylists Kimberly employs are just as talented and delightful as she. The salon is in the midst of expansion, with one of the back rooms being given a face lift and new stylists being hired. Oh and did I mention the fact that the salon is well stocked with a vast array of magazines and the staff always offers your a beverage upon arrival? Because it is and they do. Go see for yourself.
