Moe’s Southwest Grill

The food was similar to most average MOES. I don’t know why but for some reason we didn’t get a WELCOME TO MOES! And neither did the people after us. Since we were meeting new friends they were nice to allow us to sit there for 3 HOURS. Yes three hours they didn’t look at us funny or anything. But the reason this place gets a 2 is because I’m guessing a friend of the owner/​manager came in there drunk and started drama. He started demanding on the push service, which apparently mean hurry up in the rudest way. He was drunk beyond his capacity, like really beyond. Rude to the employees and they were nice enough to listen to his nasty tone and words. He had one nostril with a ring and was 6’2 slim pale Caucasian. Please find this guy and tell him that he is a certified a***olé.

Amy restored my faith in Moes… after trying one more time to get Moes for lunch… Amy was VERY helpful, she listened and got my order right after someone had messed it up. She was super professional, sweet and polite! Thanks Amy and I’ll be asking for her anytime I order there now.

Welcome to moes! Great fast food. That being said the staff were kinda rude. But I wasn’t there for the ambience so I didn’t care. I also wish they gave me more chicken.

One of the worst places I have ever eaten, Hands down disgusting, I don’t even know how the hell they stay in business. Myself and 2 of my co-​workers ate there and all 3 of us got sick literally. I spent more time in the restroom than in my own damn bed that night. Oh and we were all sober !!

So, not the best experience ever. I love Moe’s however the staff here were less than thrilled to be serving me. I asked for NO queso, as i am lactose intolerant, and they drenched it all over my meal. After asking them to remake it, they proceeded to just scrape off the top layer of my meal and keep the rest only to remake half of it. I simply told them no thank you and left the establishment. Terrible service I do NOT recommend.

GROSS burritos. I want more chipotle. Yes, I ate it because I was drunk, but it was such an average burrito and I felt sick after eating it. Besides, if I’m drunk shouldn’t all food be delicious?
It’s cool that they’re open late though. Kudos.

Quick Healthy lunch and Dinner
I enjoy the Salsa bar (Free). Chips are included in your meal!!! The staff are very pleasant and make sure everyone is getting good portions!

Food was good and quick. Restaurant was clean and service was friendly.

I had never been a fan of the Moe’s on the south-​side (always too crowded, not convenient to get to from downtown, and food wasn’t impressive) but I was willing to give the downtown one a shot when it opened. I’ve been to it three times since it opened and I’ve been fairly impressed. As of right now, the crowds aren’t too bad at lunchtime so you can get a table without too much trouble (and it doesn’t feel like a madhouse). The food has been pretty good– nothing earth shattering mind you but better than I remember the south-​side location being. Here is how I would rank the Tex-​Mex restaurants I am familiar with in quality T. Rex Mex (R.I.P. :() then Chipolte then Moe’s downtown and then Taco Abajo (not a huge fan) .
They try to get you to buy a side, and the combo with a drink isn’t a bad deal– but one burrito plus chips (which come with the meal free, if you aren’t familiar with Moe’s) and a drink are more than enough to leave you feeling full for hours. They also have one of the cool new Coke soda dispensers which can dispense about any combination of Coke products you could want and then some (it does slow people down in getting their drinks a bit, unfortunately).
