I loved my waffle it was delicious I was thinking I was getting a Waffle House waffle but I was wrong lol I was tempted to order another one but I knew it would put me in a state of languor. The fried chicken wings were also good, nice crisp on it and and even distinction of flavor not too much or too little(the goldilocks syndrome as I call it) which is what I find to be quite common when getting wings at various places. Will be back on my next trip to Savannah. Our server Alex was great and attentive.

What pisses me off about this place is that it’s one of many chains but charges 2 to 3 dollars more per meal because of its location. It is the EXACT same restaurant as SUNNYSIDEUP, HENRY’S DOWNTOWN, SUNNYSIDEUPINRICHMONDHILL, THEOMELLETEHOUSE near skidaway and the OMELLETE housr in Richmond hill and pooler. They have the EXACT same menu. Yet I hear people all the time bash one for the other. IT’S THESAMEPEOPLE! I love even put pics of the menus for you to compare. If you like Locs, save some money and go a few min up the Truman and go to sunnyside up on derenne. It’s right off of derenne. Now Locs I will give them credit for decorating their menus but it’s the same. Even have the same names. I. e triple crown omelette, philly cheese omelete, etc. You look and see of I’m wrong. Attached are menus from Locs chicken and waffles, Henry’s from downtown, and the OMELLETE house of both pooler and Richmond hill. by the way, I had their seafood omelete and it was overly fishy from the imitation crab and the hash browns weren’t even browned. they were so undercooked it was laughable. especially at $ 9.25. It’s like someone saying that the mcdonald on abercorn has a Way better menu and food than the Mc Donalds in pooler.

This place is the epitome of average. I would compare it to Denny’s, but maybe even one step down. The place was dirty with several pieces of trash on the floor. My mother and I went to try their Chicken and Waffles(which should be their best meal on the menu considering it’s in their name); however, I was extremely disappointed. The waffles were thin and dry, the chicken was in small pieces with minimal flavoring. I was not satisfied…

First timers in the south and wanted to try the infamous combination of chicken and waffles and figured what better place than one named such and we were not disappointed. It’s a seat yourself situation and even at 10:30AM on a Wednesday it was very busy. Service leaves a little to be desired they seem slightly understaffed in the situation the place is full. The food was amazing. We both got the waffle with chicken tenders and a side of hash browns and it is exactly what we envisioned it to be. Tender, juicey chicken — thin buttery waffles — shredded crispy hash browns all made fresh while you wait(and you will wait it takes slightly longer than the average place but well worth it). If you are in the area I definitely recommend you check it out.

I have been to Savannah two times now. When I first visited back at the end of August for 5 days, two of those days, I went to Loc’s for the chicken tenders and waffle with sweet tea because it was just so darned good. When I came back for New Year’s weekend for another 5 days, I came by another two times. When you go inside, you seat yourself and the wait staff will clean off the table if it’s dirty, and will take your order almost before your ass hits the seat. The food is usually ready within a few minutes. The cooks have the chicken and waffle orders down to a science. The waffle is a nice golden brown, the chicken is well made; fried on the outside, tender, moist, and juicy on the inside, and those spices… oh man, they really soak right into the meat, making each bite an explosion of flavor. Add their ranch dressing to it, and it’s heaven on a plate. The waffle syrup is just Log Cabin or some other store bought syrup, but the waffle itself is good enough without it, or, for a bit of a kick, add some ranch to it as well! The sweet tea is great and the wait staff refills it without hesitation. You can even get a final fill for the road and they’ll put it into a foam cup for you. Overall, the food here is great and the clientele for the most part is locals. Given its location a fair distance from Downtown, there aren’t too many tourists, which is nice. You can bet your bottom dollar, the next time I come to Savannah, I’ll be coming here at least once for breakfast.

Discovered this restaurant through Unilocal when looking for an after church brunch establishment. At approximately 11:00AM on a Sunday the place was full, but I was seated fairly quickly. Ordered the waffles and chicken(not chicken tenders) and was informed the wings take a little longer to cook. I received my wings about five minutes earlier than the waffles, so I had to wait for my complete meal. Both items were quite delicious and the service was friendly and prompt. Prices are decent and the restaurant appeared clean. Despite the delay in delivering the items I ordered, I would return in the future.

This is a nice hidden breakfast spot known for their CHICKENANDWAFFLES. I recommend the tenders however my other half likes the wings and states they have more flavor! But this place is great… get here early this place is always busy and its seat yourself.

I took my family for lunch and when I walked in there were three tables that needed to be cleaned. My family and I waited at the door for 5 minutes and watched multiple employees walk past us without a greeting or anything. There was 1 person at a six top booth, while two top tables were available. I had a family of four and the two tops were to far away to put together. My children were very excited for their first taste of chicken and waffles, but we ended up leaving for another restaurant in the strip mall. Will have to think very hard about whether or not to return for a second try.

Yummy fluffy waffles but unappetizing dense chicken tenders. The wings weren’t anything special either. Neither were the sauces, flavor, service, or cleanliness. Definitely won’t be back. If you want delicious chicken and waffles go to Windsor cafeteria(just be prepared to wait).

Loved this place! Very attentive staff and very quick service! I had the deluxe breakfast and everything was tasty. I saw a few people complain about the hash town up charge and I wonder why they didn’t just go for the grits! They were the best ones I think I have ever had. Will definitely come here again!

Loc’s Chicken and Waffles was pretty average not the best chicken and waffles but definitely not the worst either. The chicken was served very hot and the waffle was good too. What messed up the actual food for me was the quality of the syrup. It didn’t taste good overall the food and experience was a little no-hum. I think if the Locs were in a different location/bigger city they would have to step their game up. I was also disappointed that once the Sunday crowd died down a little bit, I saw someone get a full size Belgian waffle with their chicken, so I felt jipped. The service… there is no host. This place is first come, first serve seat your self environment. This would work when it’s not busy but it could lead to a problem on the weekend. They allowed parties to take extra tables for their bags and purses rather than accommodate the people that are waiting. Bad idea. Oh yeah and they only have Wings and Tenders. What kind of Chicken place only has Wings? What happened to the thighs and legs? If you like dark meat you are out of luck. This place is IHOP with a different name. Check it out but you don’t need to rush here.

Delicious. I got the spinach omelet with hashbrowns. Everything was cooked perfectly and the atmosphere is very family friendly. You can see the kitchen as it is placed next to the front door. The health rating is currently 90. Small breakfast place. I got lucky that I got a table quickly but expect to wait. The service was nice and quick. Just remember you pay up front! Next time I go, I will try their chicken and waffles.

This place has the best chicken and waffles. One funny thing is that the chicken and waffles are hidden in the menu. I figured they’d be the first thing on the menu given the name. The staff is friendly and there is almost always a wait. Pretty good place to get breakfast.

Stopped here for some lunch after visiting Wormsloe and I was blown away the chicken and waffles! The chicken was crispy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The waffle was golden, fluffy and warm, I can almost taste it as write this review. I would defiantly eat here again! To top it off the staff was super friendly and attentive.

Stopped in here while on my first visit to Savannah on a recommendation from a friend. Overall: Pretty nice. Clean establishment. The wait staff definitely have that southern charm which is great, and my coffee cup never went empty(no matter how much I drank in the effort to do so!) Very nice waitresses. The menu is pretty standard fare breakfast and lunch food for a diner-style place. I agree with the poster that there are very few menu items that match the name. Some more creative Chicken and Waffles” dishes should be added I would say. Overall, a nice run establishment with super friendly waitresses. I recommend :-)
