Kayak cafe

I’m a repeat customer on the West Indie salad. I love it the balsamic vinegarette, and the curry chicken on it.

I ordered a panini and was not impressed. Sandwich looked like it was thrown together at McDonald’s. My buddy got diarrhea from the bean stew. I’m not sure what was going on that day but not worth the money spent.

Highly recommend the guacamole and pita chips. Very tasty.
I had the salmon special with quinoa and veggies. Well prepared and tasty. Two large pieces of salmon. A very hearty meal. Pulled pork tacos were ok. It was supposed to have pineapple salsa on top but it was mostly just chunks of pineapple on top. But it was still good. Painini sandwich was good but coleslaw had an odd taste to it so was left uneaten. Overall food was good. Service was very attentive and friendly. Ambience like eating in a colorful café.

This place is delicious with a low key vibe. Super healthy eats and delicious affordable drinks.

Every single thing I have tried here has been top notch. Best black bean burger I’ve ever had. Tons of awesome choices for the meat-​free people :-D

Great café, but definitely small and sharing the entrance with a gymnasium makes it feel a bit crowded. The food, however, was DIVINE! I had one of the best sandwiches of my life here (Georgia Bliss on panini, warmed up), as well as a delicious tomato and basil soup. Loved the vibe and both waitresses were super sweet and attentive, without being pushy. Perfect service and quick to boot. I can now see why Kayak Café is always coming up on lists of recommended lunch locations in Savannah. Just don’t come in with a party larger than 4 — there is not enough room to accommodate anything more than a small crowd.

–Long wait, terrible service.
–VERY impatient staff
–Waited for food for forever
–Customers who came after us got food 30 minutes before us
–Our table never got a refill for water during our two hour wait for food
–Rude staff members and servers
–Food wasn’t worth it
Just don’t go. At all. Not worth it by any means.

Excellent atmosphere for a Saturday Brunch, the club sandwich was awesome and the cole slaw was incredibly fresh.

Holy salad! I ordered the spinach and shrimp salad with cilantro dressing… No words for how good it was! If you’re a salad snob, this is the place for you. I’ve never had a salad better than the one I ordered here. Can’t wait to go back! Best place ever.

The food is made with locally fresh ingredients. The food is quite scrumptious and the service is amazing! A+
