I’m biased about B&D Burgers because since moving to Savannah, we have become regulars here. Not just because of the incredibly awesome, warm, and friendly staff who are always so amazing to us and not because it’s just around the corner from us and they show all the best sports games on their TV and not because we have their tumblers and get drink discounts… okay, those things are all important, but seriously… we have NEVER had a bad meal here. Nothing is bad on this menu. The burgers… will rock your socks off. Succulent, fresh, juicy, and made to order. The toppings are original and creative and everything is delicious from the bun to the cheese to the seasoning and the fries — curly ones are the best! The fried chicken sandwich will make you wonder how in the world you can eat it all. But you can because it’s salty and crunchy and juicy and yummy. Ask for a fried green tomato on it instead of a regular one — a wee bit of a charge, but worth it. The chicken fingers… some of the best I’ve ever had. Phenomenal! Gator sliders… or as some food tour guide said in her exaggerated accent…“they got gaaaaayyyyyteer sliiiiiiiiiiidurs.” LOL! Yes… they do and my husband adores them. They’ve got a bit of a spicy bite to them and are fresh and great. The roast beef sandwich is ever so good with the right amount of au jus and horseradish cheese for an extra kick. The salads are generous and chock full of veggies. You can’t go wrong with anything. Ask for Delia at the bar… her Green Tea Shots will make your weekend! =)

Burger was just ok. Southern corn appetizer was good but this place overall is very average.

It’s a burger place which offers elk, bison, turkey and beef burgers in 1⁄3 and ½ pound options with your choice of dressings from cheddar to fried egg to mushrooms and a wide array of sauces. Wood grilled to well, medium and rare. Good beer selections makes this a solid if not common choice. If there is any drawback it would be the flavor richness of the meat could be more.

We went here last night with our two boys. Such a fun and unique place for kids(being that the place is decorated with fake alligators). Our server was amazing, she was friendly, prompt and had an amazing energy, you could tell that she liked her job. She was also quick with the lemonade refills, making sure we were happy with our food, and getting us a booster chair even though that was downstairs. For those things I would almost rate this place a 5. However, the food lacked flavor. We started off with the alligator fritters which stole the show. The flavor was great and the dipping sauce that came with it was amazing. Now for the burgers… That was another story, both me and my husband ordered the build your own burger, I added a buffalo sauce with mushrooms, Avacado, bacon, a fried egg, lettuce and tomatoes. My husband ordered the same Burger just he added a Jamaican sauce, both of us rated the burgers about a 6 for the fact that we never tasted the sauces we ordered on the burger and after starting with the amazing dipping sauce with the alligator fritters our taste buds left pretty disappointed and wanting more of a burst of flavor left in our mouths to end our meal. If you’re looking for great service though and a sports bar feel where kids are welcome downtown Savannah and flavor isn’t everything try it out for yourselves.

Pretty good, not fantastic. Service was sub par as well. I think the bartender just tried to never make eye contact with us… she stayed busy though. I had the loaded BLT… good but really too rich… the pimento was really melty cheesy. The hubs had the buffalo chicken nachos. They were good but not great. We were starving and our needs were met… along with calorie in take for the week ;)

It’s a loud bar; a place to catch the game. Reasonable choices for a vegetarian, but service is only so-so. And the food is nothing to write home about. Bar tenders are friendly but not knowledgeable.

The food was very good, but the service was above and beyond what you would expect. They went out of their way to make sure we could watch the Clemson game and worked hard to accommodate us when a large party came in. The manager even offered to buy us a round of drinks if they had to move us(which they didn’t). Great beer selection and burgers. The burger with fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese was amazing. Would go back! And yeah, Cameron was hilarious and very helpful. I see I’m not the only person to say that.

1. Cameron my server was the bomb diggity 2. they have a cool outside lounge area and showed the FSU college football game on the big screen 3. drinks didn’t feel water down though weren’t on a sale 4. Chicken dilla was awesome even if I waited forever for it. Enjoyed watching the football game with tons of fans. Now if you go on a game night be sure you have patient cause the kitchen was def behind… like 20 – 30 minutes behind. But still had a great time and would go back

If you are angling for a «burger» then B&D burgers may be your catch. We arrived early on a Sunday afternoon after a long move-in day at SCAD. The young lady at the front, Emily, quickly seated us. We went knowing they offer a gluten free option which proved to be pretty good. We opted for 2×1÷3 «build it» gluten free with Cilantro and Mango toppings. The food was and cooked correctly. Unfortunately, the wait staff was not as attentive as they should have been as they seemed more concerned with completing their prepping tasks vs making sure the current customers were taken care of — minus 1 star for the lack of prompt service. Get past that and you will get pretty good burger.

B&D Burgers has a nice beer selection and a nice array of unique hamburgers. The burgers were a bit overcooked… and the fresh jalapenos weren’t sauteed… just cut fresh with vein and seed. Not a huge deal… but were two of the things I wasn’t overly excited about. The burger combinations are however, nicely put together and cohesive with their flavors. The ambiance is decent… but a little boxed in(upstairs anyhow). You also get the benefit of viewing a huge hanging alligator(a fake one… but still amusing). The big miss at B&D’s is their service. It might have been some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. It took forever to get anything. Things were wrong… such as raw onions instead of sauteed onions… raw jalapenos instead of sauteed ones… a Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale that wasn’t a Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale… and an entirely wrong order. It was irritating that our server was SO bored and disinterested in serving my family. She was so aloof. Completely oblivious! No eye rolls or irritation from her… just completely vapid behavior. I wanted to like B&D’s…and I usually love most burger joints… but I’m not likely to give it another try. I tend to avoid chains to begin with for the reasons I’ve just stated. It’s a crap shoot that offers a 50⁄50 chance of rolling a seven or snake eyes.

Stopped in for lunch. Between the four of us we had the buffalo chicken dip which was wonderful. I had the BLT sliders which were great The others had hamburgers which were definitely well above average Everything was cooked to order and portions were plenty. Staff was friendly as well as management. Although we are only here till Friday we may make the effort to return as the menu had a nice selection. Definitely recommend!!!

Stopped in for some lunch on our way out of Savannah and this place is pet friendly on the patio which was needed since we had our dog with us on this trip. And, who doesn’t love a good burger? Once seated, we ordered our beverages and they even brought a nice big bowl of water for our dog. Service was attentive but it was not very crowded. After spending several years in Texas, I love a good«big» burger, not some small, overpriced burgers like Five Guys and similar places. They have their spots and are decent burgers, but overpriced overall. I did not feel that way at B&D. The burgers were very big and they come with a side. I ordered the Angus«Wormsloe» burger with fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese. Two items I had never had before, let alone on a burger. I ordered the Curly fries to go along with it. This was cooked my desired temp and the burger was awesome. My mouth is watering just typing this review up. Wife ordered a BYOB«Build Your Own Burger» with just basic toppings and was more than she could eat. My daughter ordered one of their Hot Dogs. I would normally be against ordering a $ 8 hot dog and still do feel that is too much for what a hot dog is, but I will admit this was one damn good hot dog and big too. She got cheese and bacon on it and I was glad that she enjoyed it… she is a picky eater. Would definitely give this place another shot or another of their locations if I am near one. I recommend giving them a try if you are in the mood for a good burger. Much better than the local Five Guys.

Party of 4, and between us we had a turkey, angus, and bison burger. Favorite burger was the colonial burger with egg and bacon. Beer selection was decent, and service was fast. While not as good as some of the places back home(Stock & Barrel or Lintons in Knoxville), it was easily a 4 out of 5 stars.

Not impressed. For the price the burger patty should be much larger, thicker, flavorful. I ordered a bison patty medium and I would say it was cooked well. But that was really not the issue. The patty just had no life. No juice, no texture, no bison flavor. It was no better than a patty you purchase at a chain grocery store. Definitely not gourmet. I get a much much better bison burger at Ted Montana’s.

While in Savannah for vacation, we decided to try this place out for lunch. It was a Monday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out we were there during happy hour — draft beers were only $ 3! The beer selection was quite good. I got the Wormsloe burger, which was a lesson in Southern food — a burger topped in pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes — YUM! Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable, and provided quick service. Just be warned — there are several locations in Savannah. We went to meet friends and didn’t realize this and ended up at the wrong place! Lucky for us, Savannah has that wonderful open container law, so we took our beers to go and walked a few blocks to the correct one :)

Been to a couple different B&D’s and the food can go from tasty to scary. Had some burgers in the past that were really good; had the chicken sandwich once that was way over salted(and I love salt). The ambiance is cool and relaxed. Fried green tomatoes with the pimento cheese is pretty good.

We came here on a food tour and decided to come back the following day since the outdoor seating was really nice and I saw pimento cheese as a burger topping(which I had fallen in love with on this trip to the South). We immediately got an outdoor seat and our server was cheerful albeit REALLY ditzy. I’m not trying to be mean, but she was distractingly ditzy. Anyway, our food came out quickly and it was good. I got a turkey burger with pimento cheese, veggies and sauerkraut. It wasn’t mind blowing by any stretch of the imagination, but it was good enough that I would probably come back if in the mood for a burger.

A good burger place, decent selection of toppings and options. Food was good and well prepared. They lose points for service. Waitress was nowhere to be found for most of the meal, making it difficult to get refills and the check. The atmosphere was nice outside, but the live music was WAYTOLOUD. Couldn’t even talk across the table.
