One of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Their pictures completely misrepresent what the location looks like. For the rate we paid we didn’t expect the Hilton. I’m a reasonable person, generally in a low cost hotel, as long as the room is clean, I’m usually happy. I guess when we pulled in and saw the shopping carts sitting in the parking lot, and the apparently«extended stay» residents with their doors hanging open and dogs roving in and out of the rooms, I should’ve been concerned. When I went in to the lobby to check in, the desk clerk was busy fussing with one of their«tenants» on the phone about not taking any checks. This lasted quite a while. When we were parking to take our stuff up to the room, we had people scanning us through the windows. It felt very weird — like we didn’t belong there, and they knew it. The room was filthy. It looked like there were blood stains on the curtains, there were cigarette holes in the linens, the one chair in the room was too filthy to sit in. The TV was very small, and filthy/covered in finger prints, and the channel label wouldn’t go off the screen, no matter what you did. The toilet seat looked like it had been through WWIII, the bathroom door didn’t have a lock. The walls had never been cleaned. We booked through and complained to them about the room. They contacted the manager of the hotel, who promptly refused to do anything about it, and as an added bonus wouldn’t let us check out early, without losing our money we had already paid. Check out the pictures I posted for a real representation of what the place looked like. To top it all off, when we went to check out, no one was at the desk. I rang the bell hoping to speak to someone, and a kid that looked to be no more than 8 years old came to the desk and took my keys. No adult would show their face. To sum it up — avoid this place like the plague. Because if you don’t, you may get one.

Definitely one of the more run down hotels I’ve ever stayed in, but not bottom of the barrel. I only stayed for a night, and at ~$ 60 it was pretty much the cheapest hotel I could find near the downtown area. The wifi was terrible. The bathroom light didn’t come until a minute after the switch was flipped. There was a club next door that had police there when I came home. They did call before check-out to let me know what time check out was. But, I did not get killed nor did my car get broken into. I had a reasonable night sleep, and the front desk girl(manager? owner?) was nice enough when I checked in. Obviously don’t stay here if you’re a hotel snob, but it’s not THAT bad.
