There are a lot of nice shops in Savage Mill and this one stands out, with a lot of unique items, good for gifts, and some that I decided good for me. True to the name there are a lot of beautiful pottery items; plates, cups, and bowls painted in the intricate style traditional to polish pottery. The colors and patterns are exceptionally lovely. There is also a nice assortment of colorful socks, scarves and hats. And, a nice selection of candle holders, bowl-shaped so that the candle fits inside and the pattern is reflected through the holder. My step-sister selected a colorful flower pattern as a gift and I selected a crab-themed holder, well, for me. There was also a small selection of nuts and soups, including a crab seasoned nut mix for the husband. Sadly for me, my step sister snagged the last can of Cream of Crab soup. In the same section were some«Chesapeake themed» crab plates and bowls. Besides the merchandise the staff, a lady and gentleman, were friendly and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. This is a nice shop to browse through and perhaps find a gift for the hard to shop for person, or if you are like me, a little something for yourself.
