New Birth Midwifery

Jenny’s excellence is unmatched. We cannot believe how blessed we were to receive our prenatal through postnatal care from her.
From the thorough two hour appointments where she assured these first time parents, to the obvious love she has for her clients and the entire realm of pregnancy and newborn care, Jenny goes above and beyond with her midwifery care. I know we wouldn’t have received even close to this amount of attention with any other type of birth, but I know Jenny also excels in the homebirth midwife niche as well. If anyone we talked to during pregnancy knew anything about homebirth (like actually about how great homebirth is… not the typical «you’ll die!» «knowledge»), they knew about Jenny. Many commented that they wished they could have had her for their birth but she was booked already. She’s just that good. This is not just a job for her; it is a calling.
We cannot express just how impressed we have been with our care enough. With this child we had a long labor and Jenny remained calm throughout. Her calm made the room quite relaxed, despite things going slightly different than a «normal» birth. We are absolutely certain we could not have had the birth turn out as well as it did without the help of Jenny. Actually, one of the memories of my labor that I’ll never forget is me singing a chorus of a worship song between contractions and Jenny chiming in. :)
Friends and family that doubted our choice of a homebirth now look at this birth with amazement of how healthy the mom and baby can possibly be! My husband is touting the experience to everyone that will listen– he is almost a birth advocate now!
Also, if you’re looking for a non-​judgmental provider, Jenny is it. Many times when she explained tests and procedures, we had no idea what her opinion was– so much so we had to almost beg to hear hers when we didn’t know if we would choose to do something or not.
If and/​or when we have any more kids, Jenny will be our first call. She is worth every penny, even if you have to pay out-​of-​pocket as our HSA had us do.
We honestly cannot recommend Jenny enough!
