Aline is a truly gifted healer, combining keen insight into the body and its mechanics, a firm and gentle touch, and a compassionate presence. These wonderful qualities cohere into an amazing experience in her office and beyond.
I am also a bodyworker by calling, and I am in awe. I have had a combination of old injuries and current difficulties that emerged into an excruciating situation that was both physically and emotionally debilitating for me and my work. Within the first session, she helped identify the presenting imbalances, as well as the underlying infrastructure of what was being held and then she worked in stages to alleviate and support all of it.
I am currently moving with ease and a freedom I haven’t experienced in a very long time.

Aline is an absolute master. I jumped into the 10-​series with her and was taken on an amazing journey. She has an incredible touch (always seems to know just how deep or shallow to work), a masterful ability to read your body before even laying hands on it, and a warm, inviting sense of humor. If you’re new to rolfing/​structural integration, as I was, Aline is where you should begin – and, I’ll be seeing her again once it’s time for my next series.

Aline is highly focused and she made sure she addressed all my concerns. I’m an athlete and a body worker myself and have to say that Aline gave me the best 10-​series work ever — hands down! She is warm and inviting and has a way that leaves you very relaxed for your session. I’m glad I found her!

There are very few things more personal than a Rolfer and there are only a few Rolfers who give excellent service. I have found a Rolfer that fits my needs perfectly. Aline Wachsmuth in Sausalito is not only knowledgeable; she is intuitive and highly skilled as well. I have been getting Rolfed for over twenty years by world class Rolfers to help avoid my having to undergo back surgery and to keep me out of pain and discomfort. Aline takes care of that job very effectively. I have been to other Rolfers with many more years of experience and training than Aline; however, few of them measure up to her ability to diagnose, treat, and resolve complex issues. So if you looking for a Rolfer who can really make a difference, Aline is who you need to see. It is well worth a trip over the bridge to receive the skilled and personable treatment she has to offer. It is also worthy to mention that her fees are especially reasonable when compared to others in her profession.

Her work is truly dynamic… not a trait you would typically find with older or more experienced Rolfers. Her pressure is always appropriate and in sync with what I am experiencing, and she gets results. She has shown both a mastery of structure and function of the body as well as a deep commitment to my healing, a rare combination to find in a health practitioner. Not only does she listen to my complaints, but writes them down and ensures they are all addressed during the session. Always my sessions with Aline are exceptional, and not only for the pain relief but the incredible process of discovering how my body got that way. That has really helped me be more aware of my posture and movement patterns, building on the gains made with her work. Seeing Aline for Rolfing is well worth the drive across the bay to see her.

Aline is an incredibly gifted bodyworker. Her hands possess a wonderful sensitivity that encourages the body to open up and mend itself. She really took time to listen to the issues I was having with my muscles, and addressed each concern I had during our session. I have always heard of Rolfing but have never tried it. I usually stick to massage or acupuncture but I went for my first Rolfing appointment with Aline the other day. I AM HOOKED! I had pulled a muscle and could barely move my neck for a few days. I am excited to say that I walked out of Aline’s office and haven’t felt any pain in my neck since I left.
Aline was very thorough in her consultation and I felt like I had her full attention the whole treatment. I really enjoyed how much I got to participate in the work by following her directions of movements while she worked on my muscles. Different –but very effective! She spoke to me about ways I can be aware in everyday life to help my neck and followed up with exercises I can work on as well.
Basically I didn’t want it to end, I have booked my next appointment, and I can’t wait to get back in there. I would highly recommend it!
