We had a large amount of household furnishings in a multi-​story house in Novato, including heavy and valuable pieces, including heirlooms, and Sollie, Anthony and Juan were perfect gentlemen in manners, consideration, integrity, and work ethic: knowledgeable and professional in their work: they shrink-​wrapped delicate pieces, and moved us into a single story house— with no scratch on any piece of furniture, and no breakage.
This is the kind of integrity one does not often find among moving companies, or, for that matter, among many non-​moving companies!

So I contacted these people concerning a cross-​country move. They talked to me on the phone, were helpful, then a guy came to my house, looked at everything, and sent me what he told me was a binding estimate.
Well, he wrote again a couple days later to say they cannot help me after all, as they are too busy this time of year.
In their defense, I had not signed anything yet, and the guy was apologetic. Still, I now need to scramble to make other arrangements.
I find it difficult to judge how upset I should be by this… if you read this and think it’s okay, I have no further complaints to add.

Sausalito Moving and Storage helped us with a move in May 2011. The process was excellent from beginning to end.
Jay came to our home, estimated the packing details, arranged the making of crates for fragile items and lined everything up with short notice. The packers were careful and courteous and the truck driver, Jim and loading team were energetic, careful and professional.
This all made moving a pleasant experience. The office staff facilitated all of it by keeping me informed and prepared for the schedule and what to expect.
The best moving experience I have had and this is our 12th move!
