My eyelash extension journey started about a year ago. I grew up with a mom that is fairly obsessed with eyelashes. Not necessarily obsessed with her own eyelashes but obsessed with other people’s eyelashes. She always notices when other people have full and luscious lashes and whenever referring to those people blessed with beautiful lashes she without fail always mentions the lashes in the description of what type of person they are. «How is your friend Nuri with her long eyelashes?»… (She has so many more redeeming qualities besides her eyelashes but mom goes straight for the lashes). Hence being a person with more average lashes I’ve always had a secret desire to be on my mother’s list of people with beautiful lashes.
About a year ago I made my first appointment at a new lash spot in San Francisco that I had heard a little bit about and decided to try out. My appointment was about a week out and in that time I ran into a girlfriend that just got lash extensions at her local nail salon. When looking at her lashes I was thoroughly and utterly terrified. They looked like a mascara job gone bad. You know those lashes all clumped together from too much mascara? Well basically that’s what her extensions looked like, the clumping was basically the glue sticking each lash together, I was frightened to see the outcome of my lashes.
Fortunately, my appointment went well. The lashes looked really good, I love the Way the lashes made my eyes pop. however the time it took to get done was just something I couldn’t invest in it was almost an hour and a half visit and I figured it was just something I didn’t have a ton of time for my life. The lashes lasted about 3 weeks, started falling off so I got a touch up which ended up taking just as long as the original appointment. I do remember that the particular adhesive or lashes this place used made me tear up a great deal I woke up everyday with a ton of dried tears in my eyes.
I gave it a few more months and decided to shop around and try out some other lash spots. I read a bunch of Unilocal reviews and came upon Brandileigha at Lashes 2 Lashes. I made an appointment at her Sausalito location and was excited to try it out. I showed up a little bit early while she was finishing up another client. When her client came out her lashes look absolutely amazing. I was mad at myself for scheduling «just a touch» because I could tell that this girl knew what she was doing.
Brandileigha proceeded to take care of my lashes for my appointment. She was quick, confident, efficient and extremely knowledgeable about what she was doing. She gave me very precise aftercare instructions and sent me on my way. Even though I only got «just a touch» they still made my eyes pop and I loved them.
Come holiday time I decided to spoil myself with the full 9 yards at lashes to lashes. I booked myself a «silk and humanely harvested mink double full set»… Oh am I glad I did! I visited The other location on Union Street and was once again blown away at Brandileigha’s skills. My mink lashes are BEAUTIFUL, I never want them to go away! I haven’t put any make-​up on since I got these babies on and I don’t need to! These lashes make everything pop and I think I’ve become an addict now!
Brandileigha is clearly a master of her craft. She knows what the heck she’s doing and is so quick and efficient. The Michelangelo of Lashes! I’m hooked and I’m happy, and best of all… I made my moms beautiful lashes list!!! She almost cried when she saw them!

This experience with Brandileigha was transformative! As someone who works a fast-​paced, hands on job with often little or no time for make-​up, it’s either something that will last and remain flattering, or nothing at all. Brandileigha took the time to understand my needs and really look at my face and eye shape, and ended up giving me a set of gorgeous cat-​eye lashes that will flatter my almond eyes for weeks.
I wasn’t sure what to expect going in as I’ve never gotten lashes done before, but Brandileigha walked me through the process and made the whole experience very relaxing. I almost fell asleep twice and she took the time to fan my face so the aroma from the glue wouldn’t become irritating.
If this is the experience for a set of lashes for my every day life, I can’t wait to see what she would do for an event like New Year’s Eve or my birthday. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Lashes 2 Lashes gave me a wonderful experience. BL was very gentle as she added the extension to my lashes. I appreciate that she asked me what type of music I’d like to listen to while she was doing the application; and I was very pleased with how natural my sets look after it was competed. I highly recommend Lashes 2 Lashes to all the ladies and gentlemen out there.

Brandiliegha is masterful. I was hesitant to commit to this at first and now cannot imagine going back to mascara. She glammed it up even more for me this time with the mink fill lashes and my husband was wowed! She is a lovely gal who clearly takes pride in her work. Wouldn’t think of going to anyone else!

High end service, top quality lashes. If you want the best of the best go to Brandileigha. She was thorough in explaining the process and gentle with my sensitive eyes.
The finished product is just the right amount of glam I desired. I can’t believe I won’t need to use mascara and my lashes are beautifully noticed — which is what I’ve always wanted.
Her service, timing, and care exceeded my expectations. It was a wonderful experience for excellent lashes!

I have never done this before — but wow! Brandileigha did a magnificent job. I really don’t get the negative reviews — she was courteous, pleasant, professional, extremely talented at doing this — and the result was perfect. Many, many people have complimented me over the last few days about how beautiful they look. The little place in Sausalito was perfectly fine — not a ‘spa’ — but who cares. I wasn’t going for a body treatment.
If I could afford to be ‘addicted’ to this, I would! But it was great for a special occasion and I would definitely go to her again.

I’ve been getting my lashes done from BL since February. I am absolutely addicted & I love my mink lashes! I alway get lots of compliments on how natural they look. Her work is flawless… They last a full 3 weeks, and I’m really grateful for her! Also she’s a kind person as well!!!

I had been wanting to try lash extensions for a long time. Finally I took the plunge and am SO happy I did and SO happy I chose Brandileigh.
The job she does is impeccable. I’ve been getting compliments left and right. The general consensus is they look gorgeous and amazing. And I agree. Being a redhead my eyelashes are blonde. So I look pretty lifeless if I step out without mascara (hey, it happens!). Plus, while my lower lashes are long, my upper ones were lacking the volume and length I longed for. I wasn’t sure what to tell Brandileigh when it came time for my appointment. I had never given direction on how I wanted my lashes done, so I had to trust her straight off the bat and am so glad I did. As soon as I looked in the mirror I was in LOVE.
Def a convert.

Brandileghia is absolutely wonderful. She is a true lash artist. I love my mink lashes. The lashes are awesome and Brandileigha is magnificent.
