Captain Heather is a dream! She helped my boyfriend plan a surprise proposal and it could not have been more perfect. She is a warm, friendly person and a highly skilled sailor. Had the pleasure of spending 3hrs on Captain Heathers beautiful sail boat. We sailed all the way out to Angle Island and back passing Tiberon and the GG bridge. Amazing views of the city. Heather was a wonderful captain full of knowledge and skill and made us all feel very comfortable during the sail on the bay. Would recommend Fine day for sailing to anyone who wants to have a fun day on the bay with an experienced Captain. I will defo be going out again soon.

My friends and I spent the day taking a tour around the bay. Captain Heather was absolutely amazing! Her knowledge and experience were evident and she explained parts of her ship and what they did and expertly maneuvered us through choppy bay waters.
Not only was her ship stocked with delicious organic snacks, and allowed us to bring wine along, Captain Heather was personable and easy to talk to and made the entire trip have a laid back feel.
Definitely going to take my parents next time they’re in town!

What an incredible sailing experience with Captain Heather!!! We were fortunate to sail with Heather on 4th of July. By far that was absolutely the best 4th of July ever. We had the «front row» view of the fireworks at Sausalito.

We booked Captain Richards boat for a 3 hour Father’s Day sail. What a great afternoon! Even though the wind was seriously strong, Captain Richards sailed us to calm water and a really nice afternoon. Her boat was beautiful, she was full of great stories, and the snacks she provided were delicious. She was great to let my husband and children take part in sailing the boat. We were a party of 6, just enough space to be comfortable and stay out of the elements when needed.
Would go again! Really fun day

I booked a half day tour with Capt. Heather for my parent’s visit in SF in May 2014: what a perfect trip! We were all absolutely delighted!
She is super friendly and the boat is a beauty! Plenty of room for our 4-​people crew but could take more!
Heather can accommodate pretty much anything, wether you prefer a quiet sail around angel island or a visit to SF to see the city up close or even go tackle the — sometimes — rough winds under the Golden Gate bridge. You can be very involved if you want (drive the boat, etc.) or just sit back and relax while you enjoy some great organic local producers’ food she can order for you. Just amazing!
Definitely one of the highlights of my parents’ stay. Would do it again anytime.
Actually planning to go salmon fishing with her too, season is coming!

We went sailing with Captain Heather last week for a sunset sail around the SF Bay and had a wonderful time. The Carodon is a pretty sail boat with classic lines that was both fast in the wind and stable in the waves. The sailing cockpit is roomy and well protected from the salt spray and wind making spirited evening sailing comfortable. A supply of hats, gloves, and blankets also helped keep us warm as the sun set. The organic snacks were also fantastic and hit the spot. The combination of Captain Heather’s calm and friendly manner lent to a very fun and relaxing evening. I would go again in a second.

Went for a great full moon sail with captain Heather Richard Tuesday. She has a great boat with a wide beam that is very comfortable for cruising the SF Bay. Heather is an expert at sailing and a great Captain. Great fun sailing into McCovey cove at the start of the Giants game. Cannot wait to go out again!
