Great service– quick and friendly. They have soy and almond milk for their espresso drinks, which is great for people like me who hate regular milk. Their pastry assortment is great! We shared a Napoleon and it was SOBOMB. Minus one star cause they were out of ice cream, which is what I wanted initially. It’s understandable though, after a busy Father’s Day weekend!

I went here with a couple of friends who had been here before and recommended the place. I cannot say that I agree with their assessment. I ordered the turkey pesto sandwich with the potato salad on the side. The potato salad was a small portion of tiny potato pieces and runny mayonnaise. It neither smelled nor tasted good. The sandwich tasted okay, but the biggest fail here was the bread. It was a smallish roll made with bleached flour that might have been better had it been toasted but still would have been glorified white bread. The pesto itself had good flavor and the turkey seemed of reasonable(lunch meat) quality, but as with the potato salad the portion was on the small side. The plate was garnished with some shredded carrots which I did not eat. I also had an Arnold Palmer to drink. It was far too sweet, so I imagine their plain lemonade is even more sweet. If this had been a $ 6 meal(like a Safeway sandwich«meal deal»), then I wouldn’t be so hard on the place. But at more than twice the price I think it’s reasonable to expect a higher level of quality than what Café Tutti serves.

Coffee and ice cream was pretty mediocre. The strudel only got worse when I asked to get it heated — after half a minute in the microwave it collapsed and got even more miserable

Here they have BLTs with a twist. It’s called a «El Portal BLT». It’s pretty much a BLT sandwich with avocado and a mango chutney. They serve it with carrots and a pesto pasta salad. The pasta salad was so good I had to order another side. It’s a cute café right next to where the ferry picks you up. Worth another trip if I ever make it back to Sausalito.

First of all we placed a big order of Pizzas & Pastas. I believe owner itself was the cashier and the order taker was a separate Asian lady. We ordered Angle hair pastas as my kids don’t eat beside that but all orders of pasta came with Fetucinni. Hence I asked the cashier/owner, now our server as well for the wrong order, he without any apology took our pastas back & replaced with a correct ones. But there was no apologies. Unfortunately we stop by the first restaurant after getting off our hop on hop off bus! And also the prices for the way too small portions & sizes was truly a Ripoff!

They certainly don’t skimp on their ice cream! Always a stop when we’re with the kids. Recently, my husband and I started playing«tourist» on Saturdays and stopped here for a cozy breakfast for 2 while the kids are at their activities and it’s always delicious! Super fast service(c’mon, they’re by the ferry so they have to be quick) and very friendly owners. I’d go just for their affogato: my guilty pleasure!

Turns out that not much opens in this sleepy bay town much before 1130 so our options were limited. The hubby and I enjoyed our lattes, a scrambled egg and fruit. Food and service was overall just average, but good option with earlier open times.

Pizza was the worst we ever had. Service was not so good as well. Didn’t check the ice cream though…

I stopped by this place after a long bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge… Quick tip, don’t use a Tandem Bike… Café Tutti is located right next to the ferry terminal, so it’s a very convenient place to grab a quick refresher after a bike ride. They have serve your basic café items like coffee and pastries, but they also have a small ice cream bar too. I selected a strawberry shake, which was used with several scoops of ice cream. It was a decent size, but I wish they used a bit more ice cream to make it a bit thicker. The seating area itself was a decent size lots of tables and chairs. The bathrooms need to be aired out or something… the odor was pretty unbearable… I’m hoping that I get to explore more of the area next time I visit!

This quaint Italian restaurant was the perfect resting spot on our«Touristy Trip to San Francisco», especially because we had just finished biking the Golden Gate Bridge. I almost purchased ice cream, just so I could use it to ice my calves – but don’t worry, I don’t disrespect food like that. I went with a couple of pals of mine and we all got some dang good food. I had the Meatball Sub complete with a side of pasta and shredded carrots… slightly strange, yet I absolutely loved the taste or everything. The Meatball Sandwich was one of the better ones I’ve eaten in my lifetime, it had great flavor and wasn’t too overwhelmingly large, making it easier for me to inhale. One of my friends ordered the BLT, simple yet delightful. There was avocado and some type of mango spread, and let me just say that«BLT» probably stands for«Holy cow this is freaking incredible» in Italian, or something. My last friend tried the pizza. They ordered Hawaiian with jalepeños. And that was a winner as well, crispy crust and fresh toppings – what could be better than that? Basically, whatever you get is bound to be good, because we were three for three. If I had to tell you what you should get, it’d definitely be the BLT or Meatball Sub. Do it because you will not regret it. TIPS&TRICKS: * If you can/if you need, find somewhere else to use the restroom. There is only one here, and everyone and there dog uses it. Just go down the road to another location– unless you enjoy waiting in lines, then by all means, wait in line. * Outdoor seating is nice, but again, lots of tourists are here and this seems to be their first destination. Snag a table inside for a more intimate and quiet dining experience.

Espresso. Double Rainbow ice cream. Clam Chowder. Shrimp Louie. Fettuccine and pesto. This café is a stone’s throw away from the ferry landing. Tutto era molto buono.

Our jolly little party consisted of me, the boyfriend, and his friend, who was visiting from Miami. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Sausalito(I’m pretty sure I went when I was a kid), so it was nice to walk along the waterfront and take a look at all the pretty things. We were in search of brunch-type items, and turned down quite a few on the way from the convenient parking lot since they were way more expensive than we were hoping.(Also, is it just me, or were there an abundance of ice cream and burger shops here? Amazing.) As we passed Café Tutti, I jokingly called out, «Hey guys, this place has BREAKFASTPASTA. I am so in.» See: the neon signs displaying the types of goodies they had. Look, it’s not my fault they were right next to each other. Anyway, in the end, this is where we went. The first thing we saw were the MASSIVE pastries, which were a steal at only $ 2.50 a croissant. The first thing I saw? Corned beef hash, aw yiss. I was able to order just a side of that and some toast, which is all I wanted, but then my party was like, «Let’s get THREEPASTRIES!» and then that happened. Oops. In any case, the prices here were decent and comparable to breakfast in San Francisco — and I think ordering just side dishes of each are pretty much perfect. Here’s the thing. If I lived in Sausalito, I would probably be here every Sunday. There’s a lovely view, there’s pastries, and there’s corned beef hash. I don’t care that people always think my boyfriend is the one who orders this dish. I’ve gotten used to the surprised looks of «Oh, I thought… he ordered… it…not you, little tiny Asian girl…» and it does not matter because in the end, I get corned beef hash. Plus, the toast here was quite nice! Nothing like a certain other place with«toast» in their name. It was good toast, good corned beef hash. And the pastries? Yes. Yes yes yes. I will basically come back for more pastries, because they were just fantastic. The service was also lovely, and it was really quick! We were thankful for that, since our friend wanted to see a lot of things, and we were able to get a lot done. Got to love quick, friendly service and tasty food for a day full of sightseeing. Next time, I’ll ask for a box of sweets to take up for a mini-picnic on one of the many Sonoma stops.

My cappucino was excellent, the bisto style café very nice to the eyes and matching this old harbor town of Sausalito… but the customer service was not that great, I felt like I was pressed to decide what to eat(finally I decided to just get the coffee, considering the long line behind me and the hurry-up situation). By the name I thought it was an Italian coffee shop but no, the owners seem to be Asian. Good location and a nice place to stop for a drink, I was not too attracted to the sweets or food there, plus too many people.

Pretty underwhelming experience. I would have expected more, especially given the location. Pros: — Location is great. It’s right by the water, making for convenient eats if you’re going to and from the ferry. — The owner is really friendly and accommodating. Staff is great as well, ensuring tables and surroundings are clean. Cons: — Food such as lunch items, not pastries or from the bakery, is a little bland and unexciting. The description of our food sounded good on the menu but didn’t look as appetizing on the plate. — Overpriced. I’m okay with paying a little more since we’re in Sausalito, but I don’t think the extra price tag was worth it. The pastries, ice cream, and coffee drinks looked appealing. If nothing else we’d come back to try these items and maybe have better luck.

My friend and I thought it would be fun to take the ferry to Sausalito because Sausalito just sounds so cool, both the area and the sound of the word hahah Saaaalsa-lito! We don’t have ferries in Portland that take you from one side to the other because you work or live on the other side. When we arrived it was crazy windy and cold… in August! But what a great little area! I liked this cute coffee shop, it had big windows allowing a lot of natural light. We ordered coffee, a Danish for my friend and this protein bar that looked just like a Blondie for me. My Americano was decent and the protein bar was excellent. The reason I got the protein bar was because it looked like a Blondie, otherwise I am no fan of the prepackaged protein bars they sell at the store. It was crumbly but oh so good! I need to find out who makes it, it didn’t say on the plastic wrap it was wrapped in. I only reduced one star because I would have liked to see less Danish and cheesecake options but more muffins, scones, cupcakes, non– cheesecake type cakes, etc… fortunately they had cookies and that awesome protein deal ;) Total with tax was about $ 10 for a mocha, danish, protein bar, and Americano. If I am ever back I will try the lunch options ;)

Double rainbow cappuccino chocolate double crunch. Stepped in for their ice cream on a sunny Sausalito Sunday! They have other ice cream flavors and they serve up the coffee and tea with baked pastries as a café. Convenient café shop that is located along the ocean view!

Once I reached Sausalito, I locked up my bike and it started pouring! I needed something super close because I didn’t feel like walking around and getting soaked. Turns out, I would settle for an unexceptional & expensive lunch at Café Tutti. The place is located right by the water(to go on the Ferry). You walk in, pick something out from the menu, and then let the person at the counter know. «Self-service» type of thing. My friend and I were disappointed with our sandwiches. I don’t think it’s ever a good thing when you get your food by the time you sit down.
