I’m going to keep it simple. LYINGCROOKS… STAYAWAY!!! They arrived and the team wrote chicken scratch so we couldn’t understand any of it… they wrote coding of the ratings of our items… but nobody knew what he was writing… upon delivery ½ of my items were damaged, scratched, missing, cracked, broken… Well WARNING… that’s the SCAM he was writing up when they pick it up… so here is the scam… They write all your furniture even the brand new stuff… like a ladder still in the plastic from Home depot… they wrote a damaged and worn and broken code on it to cover them when they decide to break it… they cover their own asses prior to them breaking your items. The ladder is still in the original wrapping from home depot… The brand new tv stand arrived brand new… but on the form… it says Badly worn, broken, scratches… were they plan on damaging my stuff so this was their way of covering themselves??? They disassembled our furniture… then broke them… they scratched and broke items tons of other items… but on the form you sign after having them move all of your furniture for 6 hours, you initial, you dont read the 600000 lines of toddler writing… seriously…they need an electronic form… ipad…something…I still cant understand the drivers writing… the give you a shitty carbon copy… they hope they never see you again… Filed a claim… they denied it… all because they claimed in advance the items were already damaged and they never disassembled our furniture??? YESYOUDID lying crooks!

RUN as fast as you can. This company employs thieves and fully supports them in their larceny. They stole $ 1000’s of personal items from me on packing day. I’ll be seeing them in court.

I called Allied Van Lines to get a quote on shipping one sectional couch from San Rafael to Florida. The woman seemed inconvenienced and recommended I call someone else. When I asked her what it would cost, she said it would be several thousand dollars! When I mentioned I just moved my entire house across the country for several thousand dollars, she hung up on me!!! Extremely unprofessional and the quote I got from someone else was less than $ 1000! ZEROSTARS!!!

If I could give this company a minus star I would. I am not even a customer, nor do I intend to be after this experience. I live in Berkeley with my disabled mother who finds it difficult to move about the house. Earlier this morning an allied employee/driver banged on our front door demanding that my mother move her car that they believed was blocking their truck. I unfortunately was not around at the time. They were very rude to my mom and not understanding that she is disabled, she literally can barely walk, and was unable to do so. Well they somehow managed to get by. We were a little miffed by this experience but would have let it go had they not come back down and then demanded I move my car a few hours later, I had returned home by that time. Even though they were demanding rather than asking, I obliged and proceeded to move my car back for them. He proceeded to yell me in a condescending tone and treated me like a child that has never backed up a car before. There are procedures in the city of Berkeley to obtain no parking permits when moving and Allied should have followed these procedures, if they had done so they would not have had to demand that people move cars with no notice. Personally I would never want a contractor I engage to treat my neighbors so disrespectfully and based on this experience would never engage Allied. Fortunately there are better choices.

Not only was the agent that came to my apartment to give me a quote absurdly condescending, the quote was over $ 1000 higher than the next highest I received. Now, apparently because I requested my quote from them online, my inbox is getting flooded with spam from their«partners» even after I explained that I would not be going with them for my move. Do yourselves a favor– if you want to move for a remotely reasonable price, don’t choose Allied.
