Starbucks

Not impressed — even though I asked for half pumps of syrup they used the full amount and it was way too sweet. Also was told they don’t offer outlets because they really don’t want people lingering all day on their laptops as it’s inconvenient for their customers who are coming in to eat. (Never mind they currently have three tables out of 16 actually being used). *grumble*

I like that its in a Barnes and Noble, which means wifi and books with a coffee. Sadly
these are not the best baristas.
I got a cappuccino which was 75% foam and my friend got an Americano which she said was bitter and watery.

There’s only so much you can write about a chain, so I’ll focus on differences among them.
Parking — positive — Very large lot shared with a few other stores (Staples among them), you shouldn’t have a problem at all.
Location — I hate route 1. It’s difficult to merge on to the highway. However, one thing I like about this location is that the right highway lane widens for a while right before the entrance so you have room and time to slow down and move over before turning right in.
Ambience — It’s in Barnes & Noble. The perks being that there is free wireless internet and books and magazines that you could read while sipping your drink and you don’t necessarily have to buy them afterward (although that practice is most likely frowned upon). The downside being that it can get noisy, with Starbucks itself and the B&N customers. Not the cleanest one I’ve seen and nothing pretty to look at. No comfy chairs or couches but plenty of tables & chairs as well as the window bar with stools.

This is my favorite Starbucks. I’m there almost every weekend ordering my Latte and Stuffed Feta Pretzel — soooooo good. I like my pretzel with mustard.
I know all the employees there and they’re really cool… there’s the teacher who works PT — great guy and then there’s Esta — sweet lady from Honduras.
They always get my coffee right and I get to read magazines while I chill with my Latte and pretzel.
