my favorite gamestop to go to. Its very big and roomy plenty of games and the best staff ever. its close by and i have never had any problems with the games not working. they always work and i will always go here for my gaming needs. BUT please Gamestop… SELL GAMECUBE GAMES PLEASE!!!

The Pokemon x and y mega stone mystery gift giveaway was supposed to start on Monday, after checking every GameStop within 20 miles, this store finally had them on Friday except when I went to the store, one of the 2 employees Said you had to preorder the next game to get the code. So I just looked at him questionably knowing full well that the Pokemon website said that they were free giveaways and you could also preorder the next one if you wanted to. So after a few seconds of what seems to be a stare down contest he was not budging, the other employee passed me one saying «here it will be okay we have plenty» so I thanked him profusely adding that I had been trying to get this since Monday when it was supposed to start.

First off, I want to make out with everyone I’ve ever seen working here. Gamestop Rt. 1 employees, I love you.
Secondly, I’m not much of a video game person. I had my X-​Box modified so that theres a few thousand games that live inside there and I can play a game like Bubble Bobble to my hearts content.
Newer games require more time than I’m willing to invest. BUT, I did get hooked on Guitar Hero and finally broke down and bought it and a PS2. Well, I beat Guitar Hero 3 in a few hours and once the pain in my fret hand subsided, I came here to buy the other Guitar Hero’s and to seek out other games I could play with a short attention span. I got Vice City for a mere $ 3.99 and some casino game for $ 4.99. Since I’m not a gamer, used games are PERFECT for me. I have no need to buy what’s new and hot and over $ 50. This Game Stop has a HUGE selection of games (and they sell dvds and blueray disks too).

Ya… I’m a geek.
For those of you out there who love to get there nerd on just like myself, this is the place to go for gaming. I have all three of the next generation consoles (yes that makes me a level 3 dungeon master geek) and this is the place to go to get anything video game related.
They have a huge selection of used games and hell who doesn’t like to save money. There are two gamestops right by my house and I go to this one for two reasons, first the manager is a good guy, he a little dude with glasses who knows his stuff, secondly there staff as whole doesn’t wreak of desperate geek like the one at the mall.
I mean I’ve been to the one at the mall and it seems like every time I go, the two kids there are talking to their fellow mothers basement dwellers and act like their doing me a favor by grabbing me a game (picture the comic guy from the Simpson’s except less yellow and not nearly as cool).
I guess if your über geek like myself check this place out it really is a great shop.

Gamestop is great. I have an old Super NES and it can be hard to find games for it. This place has a pretty good selection of used games for okay prices though. They also have games for other systems. They have lots of different systems and controllers too. It is a good place to go if you don’t feel like spending a billion dollars on video games.
