This restaurant is pretty reliable for a good meal.
The beer is always cold, the drinks made right. The service is typically spot on.
There are a few things we always get, the gold fever and buffalo chicken are always good. The gold fever wrap, the burgers and the chicken parmigiana are always reliable.
The kids like the Mac and cheese, I know Mac and cheese really? But it is really cheesy.
Last night the food was not hot, everything was lukewarm.
The nachos we ordered were not prepared right, as we ate them the cheese in the center and on one side was not melted. It had a dollop of sour cream and guacamole but no salsa besides a sprinkling of some on the dish. It was the most disappointing nachos with we have had.
The machines were not working to process our credit card, we understand things happen… but a least offer your patrons a free soda while they wait.

Always a decent experience at this 99. The menu changes often which is a plus! My husband loves the double BBQ turkey tips. I usually get the big kajuana salad which is delightful and filling! Cheap drinks and a nice bar. A good cheap «go to» for Saugus residents.

I remember why I don’t like eating at chains and coming here was a clear reminder why I don’t LOL.
I ordered a some fancy sweet-​somethingsomething-​burger, recommended by our waiter. It had fried jalapenos on top of it with some sweet chili sauce and the typical burger stuff. I asked it to be cooked medium rare, turns out it was like ½ medium, ½ well done. LOL. The jalapenos were also not fresh either, I mean I didn’t expect it, but just staring at the jollies made me a little sad. It looked like they were fried before, then frozen, then reheated. There was no sense of spice to the burger, as there were no seeds inside the jollies. Sigh.
The burger meat was definitely full of juice, or oil. Either works, welp. It made my bottom bun fall apart and sadly it was a struggle to even hold onto the burger. Ended up cutting it in half to make it more bearable.
Ooo they also serve you popcorn as like a mini-​appetizer while you wait to get your food. I thought it sounded interested as I imagined fresh popcorn from the microwave or the popcorn machine, but nope I got my hopes up and received room temperature, stale popcorn LOL.

Little surprised tonight. Ordered take out for family of 4, spent $ 58 Looking over the receipt at home, realized that we were charged an extra $ 1.66 for «to go» packaging… In my opinion, that is a cost of doing business… we didn’t take up a table, nobody waited on us, dishes didn’t have to be washed, etc… Ridiculous, will never go tgere again.

Was there last night for family dinner and it was awful! The service was great, but the food was terrible! Best thing I had were stuffed mushrooms and they were nothing special. The French onion soup was horrible! Onions not fully cooked, served luke warm. At that point I ordered a salad so I wouldn’t starve! NEVER AGAIN!

I’ve eaten here many times in the past. Visiting today… seafood chowder is creamy and tasty. Steaks and chicken and appetizers have always been great. Full bar and wide selection of beers.
