Pizza was okay. It was just enough for our large group. Too much cheese. But the salad was great!

So happy we stopped in! We came from Chicago so we have high expectations for a good slice of pie! The staff was quick and very friendly. The BBQ chicken pizza was delish!

Pizza was okay. Biggest issue was crust was so thin it fell apart if any toppings were on there. Also very pricey for what we got

We stopped in for lunch and split the Caesar Salad and Zach’s Mediterranean pizza. Yummo! So happy we stopped as soon as we got into Saugatuck. Friendly waitstaff and clean restaurant.

We had a late dinner at Scooters Friday night since options are a bit limited in Saugatuck after 10pm. We were pleased with our choice to dine here. Started with a buffalo wings appetizer that was perfectly cooked. We quickly decided on the Zach’s Mediterranean pizza — pesto, feta, olives, bacon, Italian sausage, spinach, basil and red onion. The crust was thin and crispy. Overall, tasty put a bit too salty in my opinion. Service was quick. Overall a good experience!

Very disappointing. We ordered carry out from Scooters on the first evening of our vacation. The chicken salad sub was terribly under seasoned and stuffed with yellow romaine, including the woody core. The curly fries were limp and undercooked and the regular fries had clearly been dropped in oil that wasn’t hot enough as they were swimming in oil and totally mushy. The chicken fingers were obviously not fried at the same time as one was golden brown while the others were beige. My husband’s roast beef wrap was tolerable and our daughter liked the Mac ‘n cheese appetizer. We were also disappointed that Scooters only offers a kids menu for dine in. Will definitely not return.

Pizza was barely passable, wine was warm, and service slow. Not sure how this place has averaged 4 stars, but it is not worth it. Expensive because it’s in Saugatuck, but otherwise this place would not make it in most respectable restaurant towns.

Terrible service, mediocre food at best. Avoid since there are many other restaurants in the area

Called ahead to place order, order was waiting for us and delicious to boot. The owner greeted and chatted with us personally and made it a great experience. Thanks Scooter’s!

They deliver. Not overly wowed by pizza salad or some sort of lame bread that looked like under baked pizza dough, did I mention they deliver? Those were the highlights of my two experiences ordering in.

Stopped in for an early dinner while vacationing in Saugatuck. We literally had the place to ourselves. All of the staff members were very friendly, and the service was prompt and attentive throughout dinner. We had mozarella sticks, veggie pizza, and the lemon crème cake(hungry that day!), and all of those items were fantastic. I thought the prices were generally fair, especially for a «resort» town. We’ll be back!

If you read all the reviews I think you can pick up on the theme that this place is hit or miss. Holiday weekend and it was not very busy(perhaps our first clue) took nearly 10 minutes for a server to come over. She admitted she was new so we were forgiving. Long story short my wings were good everything else was mediocre. Pizza very salty, salad was sad. On top of that it was pricey for what we received. Another server took over and she was pleasant, the manager was snarky with customers at the next table to the point were it was getting tense. Given all the great good options in town, this is average food with a high price tag. Maybe we caught them on an off day but why bother?

Should have known when we were the only people in the restaurant that we should have turned and walked out. Service was mediocre. Food was horrible. I ordered the taco salad. The meat was cold and the shell was somehow greasy tasting. My husband got the ribs and said they were the worst he has ever had. The fries were dry and limp. The only good part about our meal was the beer my husband ordered. Not worth the money at all. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Whenever we have guest from out of town we always go to schooners. They’re all meats pizza and Greek salad are the best I’ve ever had.

My partner and I walked up to Scooter’s on Easter Sunday at 10pm. They were just shutting off their open sign. They welcomed us in and told us it was no problem to sit, have a drink and order pizza. It would’ve been so easy for them to turn us away but customer service was their priority. The pizza was delicious and the leftovers were just as good cold the next morning. We will be back Scooter’s.

Scooter’s is a great place with great pizza! The owners Chuck and Chris are very cool and kind people. A friend and I took a trip to Saugatuck and when we went there for dinner we were shown tons of hospitality. It was the only place open and I couldn’t be happier for that. It was amazing pizza with amazing toppings. It is also very reasonably priced. I will certainly return the next time I’m in Saugatuck.

We ordered a pizza, salad, and kid’s chicken tenders to pick up. They had to make sure about the tenders, as they usually do not do kid’s items for carry out or delivery, but I guess they made a special exception for us. Scooter’s did not make a great immediate impression. When the four square thing was unable to read my credit card, the server informed me that she could not enter the number manually — it would have to be swiped. When I told her that receipt paper along the magnetic strip might help, she went in back, returning a few seconds later to let me know the manager was gone, and only the manager had the receipt paper. Ok. So I had to drive back to our place, get my other card, drive back, and pay. Needless to say, everything was cold. Not that it really would have mattered. The kid’s chicken tenders were the best item, being well seasoned and crunchy. The accompanying fries had been fried to a limp, oil-filled sogginess that proved to be inedible. The«chef’s salad» was on par with the pre-made salad I would buy at the grocery store, except it was twice as expensive. The bacon cheeseburger pizza was a hideous looking thing, as the sparse cheddar melted over the red sauce and bits of meat was reminiscent of regurgitation. It too had an oily complexion, so much so that the bottom of the box was soaked through and staining the table cloth of the B&B in which we stayed. To cap it off, the whole experience cost $ 40. I would have rather eaten the money directly.

It is not very often that I find food so unappetizing that I can’t eat it and end up throwing it out. My friend and I stopped in here after walking around the downtown area. I will say that it is a good location, close to shops and the water. That is about the only thing it has going for it. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and the spaghetti with meat sauce. The soup was obviously canned and was underwhelming, but it was ok enough to eat. The spaghetti on the other hand was inedible. The pasta tasted like it had been sitting out, dried, and was just reheated in the microwave. The sauce was bland and unappealing. When the waiter came around and asked how the food was I mentioned tthe problems with the pasta. He seemed unsure of how to handle the situation and just said, «Sorry about that.» There was no offer to fix it or to make something else. He was really nice, just seemed inexperienced. We just asked for the check and decided to go somewhere else to eat.
