Have been there several times & am usually pleased. Went there on the 13th of June & it was a big disappointment !! Ordered the California Omelette which I had there before, but this time it had the wrong cheese, veggies were overcooked & soggy & bacon was tough & undercooked. Server was un-attentive, & I had to ask twice for condiments. Sweet potato fries were soggy & burnt in spots. Oh, and my first choice was a crêpe. The server told me they had no crepes that day !!! YIKES. Won’t be going back anytime soon. :(

This is a very generous 3 star. Struggled with giving 3 stars for many reasons but 1 star is unfair and 2 is rough. Wanted to be rough because 4 ½ stars is nuts. We had 4 items when we are today and french fries may have been the best. Calamari– about as bland as could be and as small a size tube tentacle choice a place could order. Dipped in plain flour and fried. No salt, no pepper no nothing. Really disappointing. Clam chowder — it was ok. A solid 3, but for a bowl was pretty small. Lobster roll — generous with lobster but priced accordingly. I’d pick on it more but not fair. Over all it just annoyed me to drive that far for this place. Parking lot full. Place is crowded enough so obviously other people like it. However, everything we had was so-so.

You can tell they take pride in their food and ingredients. I had the scrambled eggs, sausage link and bayou home fries. Let me say that they were the best scrambled eggs ive ever had. Fluffy and moist, like they should be. The sausage was very fresh tasting, i had to ask if they incased their own. The bayou fries were perfectly spiced. My hubby had a blueberry reduction on holindase — a special they had and he sont do hollandaise, so this surprised me. he loved it! We were so impressed that we went back the next day for dessert. We had the pinapple coconut cake, a cream chesse lemon layered cake and a hot bread pudding with ice cream served on top. All 3 were simply amazing. Cant wait to visit the area again to try lunch and dinner.

Found this little off the road place and decided to stop for brunch. We arrived around 9:30 which was perfect as we were immediately shown to our table. The staff was attentive and cheerful. The food was excellent and a good value.

Eclectic fun and unique little place with creative culinary fair. The best burgers in town. Always consistent. Desserts are to die for. You always feel welcomed. We keep coming back and never had a bad meal there(except the crab cakes which I didn’t care for since I’ve had Maryland crab cakes). Support local. Support excellence!

Too cool café is a definite go to and often! With a very cool and comfortable environment and a menu that has a plethora of food choices! We were very welcomed by the owner who couldn’t be more pleasant, our server was so nice and knowledgeable of the food choices, which gave me a bigger appetite! We Ordered the Apple Brie crêpe with the walnut brandy sauce and it was so delicious and the presentation was outstanding! I secretly wanted to order another! This is one of the best places I’ve been to where the food and staff will keep me wanting more! Keep up the great work and I will many times!

I have been here a few times and while I do enjoy the food, there are a few issues. The first is they have gotten my order wrong, each and every time. While It was a horrendous error, it was still and error. Second is that the food always ends up costing between 40 – 50 for lunch/dinner for one person. Again, not terrible, but a bit expensive, especially since I’m usually stuck outside in the sun without the sunshades up(not allowed the last 3 times). If these errors seem okay with you, then please do attend.

Today I stopped by Too Cool Café for lunch. Upon arriving we were warmly greeted and sat at a nearby table. I found the placement of the tbale and chairs to be a bit uncomfortable. Whenever I move I would hit the chair behind me or vise versa. I know they need space for diners but it was an issue. Our drink order was taken and I requested an Arnold Palmer which was fantastic. I know its not rocket science but Ive had many bad AP’s. For lunch I ordered the sweet potato clam chowder and the lobster roll. I have had numerous bad experiences with Lobster Rolls over the years but the server told me the lobster was fresh from Maine and it was superb. I took her word and ordered it. The soup arrives and it was absolutely delicious. Sweetened by the sweet potato and creamy and filled with a generous variety of ingedients. The lobster roll arrived and the presentation was beautiful. The taste was very good too but it was a bit too salty for my taste. The bun was excellent quality while the sides were excellent, especially the slaw. I did order crème brulle for dessert because I had to give it a try. The shell was perfect and the custard itself was not runny but maybe a bit to stiff. Othwise it was very tasty and I did enjoy it. 4 star experience all the way. 1 star off for lobster roll being to salty, a crème brulle that was to stiff, and little room to enjoy a seating.

Very good meal! I really enjoyed the eggs Benedict! Omelettes were very good also. Good service. Hostess not very friendly, not approachable, basically the opposite of what a hostes should be!

The atmosphere of this place is a blend of hipster and classic roaring I love the Playlist which consisted of Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Buble, Louis Armstrong, and other jazzy fizzle. I had the California eggs benedict which was delicious. I also couldn’t finish it but it will be eaten as leftovers. The bayou home fries were pretty good too. I would’ve preferred a traditional french fry cut but it was still good. The parking lot was full when we pulled in but the wait was only about 5 minutes. It’s a great place for everyone to enjoy food and good company. There were families, a table of girlfriends having brunch, and some couples doing sundates. There’s so many things on the menu that I’d want to try like the Nutella stuffed french toast or the bottomless bubbly(mimosas) deal for $ 20ish. I’ll definitely be back again.

Great breakfast place. Renovated, clean, personable small team of chefs and servers who are just great at making traditional favourites. I have had an omelette and a benedict — fresh juice and fresh sliced tomatoes which were 10⁄10 produce quality. I haven’t been for Lunch but compared to other spots in the area, this is the best breakfast I have had when beachside. I cant really consider any other option.(altho not in Florida often or more specifically Melbourne beach.)

I don’t understand the rave about this place. Food was okay. But not much choice for vegetarians. Certainly no break in price if you order something that comes with meat but you sub veggies. Penne w Thai curry sauce and chicken. $ 9.95. Take out chicken. Same price because they added sliced mushrooms. Dessert: pumpkin pie slice $ 6.75. Really. I don’t mind spending money for tasty well cooked food. But please add something to the menu that I might want to spend money for.

Every so often, I’ve been to restaurants expecting one thing and then having an altogether different experience — and in many if not all of those cases it’s a disappointment from the expectation I had going in. My latest experience with this phenomenon was far from anything bad, in fact, Too Cool Café lives up to the hype — and exceeds it. My wife and I ate there on a clear and beautiful Friday evening. We had taken our bikes out to enjoy the great weather. We found the place relatively busy at about 5:30PM, but there were plenty of tables outside so it all worked out. Actually, it worked out great for us since we were able to do people watching, enjoy the evening air, and had our own«private» area by choosing the one table located on the south side of the building(something to keep in mind if you choose to eat outside.) From the get-go we knew this place was more than the burgers we had seen from on-line pics — they have an incredible menu with offerings of chicken, fish, and beef, and had wraps as well for the asking. Our server, Kelly Ann, was wonderful and attentive. She answered our numerous questions about the menu, gave us some insight as to chef, and unlike other waiters or waitresses we have come across, she was not shy about making suggestions on the menu — I like that. For dinner I ended up choosing the Blackened Mahi Mahi where my wife selected the Lobster Wrap(a lobster roll in wrap form.) The mahi was cooked perfectly, the homemade artichoke tartar was delicious and the red potatoes and veggies it came with we good as well. My wife loved her lobster roll and even considered ordering a second to take home. But I convinced her otherwise saying it would give us good reason to come back. Dessert was unique as well. I had the pumpkin pie with their homemade cinnamon ice cream(the first time I had had pumpkin pie with anything other than whipped creamed, and I loved it.) The wife choose a decadent(and big slice) of german chocolate cake, which was moist and delicious as well. Too Cool Café doesn’t look like much from the outside, but as they say, it’s what’s inside that counts…

First let me start by saying, if you have been here as recently as up to a few months ago, you may want to give it another shot. This place has recently been taken over by new management and it shows. The waiters and waitresses have little«hipster» outfits and it goes right inline with the feeling of the restaurant. I liked the darker wood and the atmosphere in side. It’s a bit tight, but I was there for brunch and it wasn’t crowded. Great food, good service. AWESOMEBRUNCHSPOT.
