Stitchin’post

It looks like a hoarder house, not a yarn shop. Very dusty, I would not buy yarn here.

It’s a little tough rating this store. I walked in and froze in place, trying to take in what I was looking at. This is a small store that has about twice as much stuff as it has space for. At least half of the yarn never made it out of the plastic bags or the shipping boxes it arrived in. There’s just yarn filled boxes sitting and stacked all over the place. There are four aisles in the place. Two are blocked halfway down, one is 10″ wide and requires you walk sideways, and one is manageable. Knitting needles sit in a shipping box bound together by size with rubber bands. There are pattern books nearly as old as I am.
With that all said, it is a pretty interesting place. It has a strange charm, and the two older women who own the place are very friendly and helpful. I asked where something was and, to my complete amazement, she found it within seconds. Obviously, it is organized chaos. This is a place you definitely should not go to if you’re looking for something specific. You go to this place to see what you can find.
