The Cookie Cottage

I had the strangest encounter here today. Owner and cashier were working and seemed odd i just ignored it. I asked if they had milk for the cookies i bought and they said they didnt in the most are you stupid kind of way. Like i should already know cookie cottages dont have milk! (That was sarcasm) i kid you not this woman grabbed HALF AND HALF for me instead and i said no thanks and she proceeded to shove it in my service dogs face trying to give it to him. Who does that? Drug addicts? I dont know but also she should know as a business owner, you do NOT interact with service dogs while they are working. The dogs vest says «DO NOT PET». What makes you think its ok to walk up on him without asking and shove things in his face? Would you do that to someones kid? It will take more than a Unilocal review to help this girl understand she was completely out of line and i realize that. Just thought others can benefit from knowing as well. Stay away. So weird !

I had emailed Cathy about possibly getting some cookies made for the celebration of my business anniversay. She responded quickly and answered all the questions I had, even telling me about discounts for bulk or repeat orders. I then asked about her specialty designed cookies! We had a Mario themed game night planned with a group of friends, so I asked if she could do Mario cookies — they turned out so good! They were brilliantly decorated, super tasty and everyone loved them. When I came to pick them up, I saw that they had a large selection of gluten free cupcakes that looked wonderful, too! I’m definitely going to using Cookie Cottage for my business gifts AND will be keeping them in mind for a unique dessert to bring to events and gatherings.

We had a custom order done with over 1000 cookies. The owner Cathy did a wonderful job. She was helpful and gave us options and seemed very organized. The custom cookies she did were great. The cookies were sooo yummy and soft. Everything was ready as promised and prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend their cookies. Cute shop and she also does decorating classes.

We used The Cookie Cottage to have custom made cookies in the shape of Florida (with a heart of Siesta Key) for our Welcome Bags. The cookies were delicious, super cute, and gluten free (as requested). I would highly recommend The Cookie Cottage for any of your custom cookie needs!

The gluten free lemon cupcake with cream cheese frosting was the best cupcake I have ever had! I got a dozen for a party and hid them from everyone so I could eat more. I ate one everyday until they were all gone! They were moist, sweet and amazing tastey! I would suggest this bakery to anyone looking for amazing cupcake gluten free or not!!!
