So glad I found this spot. If you are a tea lover, you must stop in. I am a tea addict from Los Angeles and I brought another from Maryland. We loved it and can’t wait to come back. The tea choices are wonderful, the British goodies and merchandise are unique. I personally love the custom knit tea cozies! Arlene at the front is one of the sweetest hostesses you will meet and take great care of you! Enjoy. I can’t wait to come back! Cheers!!!

What can I say? I LOVE this store and the owners and the food and the staff. I booked this place for my child’s birthday party and it was amazing and perfect. The food was incredible, the children LOVED the whole experience and the service was warm, welcoming and again, perfect. Thank you Kathy and the whole staff for making this an unforgettable experience for all of us. EVERYONE needs to come to your tea room! We also love the selection of unique products! THANKYOU!

I called the shop looking for British groceries & found out they served tea and other British foods. I am so glad I called! There was a wide variety of tea choices on the menu. The tea I chose was green tea with ginger & lemon, & it was delicious, served in a pot covered with a tea cozy & a tiny pitcher of milk. I ordered Traditional Afternoon tea, which was served on a lovely 3 tiered tray. All the food was served on beautiful china. The first Tier: finger sandwiches(out of 6 varieties) — I had ham salad & salmon w/cream cheese. 2nd Tier: Scone(warm from the oven) w/lemon curd & clotted cream. 3rd Tier was that day’s cakes: I had shortbread, gingerbread, & lavender cake.(!) I chatted with Moira, who remembered me from my call about treacle & golden syrup. I look forward to returning to try more menu & tea selections! The tea room serves more minimal Tea, with a smaller selection of tasty side dishes with your pot of tea. There are also traditional Cornish Pasties, Meat Pies, salads and other traditional British delights. The tea room in the back is beautifully decorated and there are British magazines for you to read(if you like) while you enjoy your meal. The front has a nice variety of British groceries, gift items, and teapots of different sizes and colors. The teas served are available for sale, as well as frozen versions of the meat pies & items not on the menu, such as Scottish banger sausages. Whether you come for Traditional or Desert Tea, or for lunch with a meat pie, or if you come for British groceries, this is a wonderful specialty shop in Gulf Gate, an area filled with specialty shops.
