A bad experience made good after contacting the owner of the dealership network. While I appreciate the ability of the dealership to make it right, we shouldn’t have had to leave the dealership in disgust in the first place. The outreach from the General Manager a few days later enabled us to return as customers.

Second chances are always welcome. Kevin Simmons, general manager at Sunset Kia called me personally and apologized for the way in which I was treated. He honored the deal I made.

I was staying at my parents place a weekend they were away and inherited a flat tire. Luckily I was advised per my dad that his Kia had roadside assistance. The roadside assistance was very helpful and patient as I tried to track down all the info on my dad’s car. Got it towed in and Sunset Kia was super nice and helpful. Got my tire fixed very quickly and got me back out the beach quickly. Price was very reasonable. Parents said they also had a very pleasant experinece when they originally purhcased the vehicle. Good to know the high level of service continues after you drive it off the lot.

I hate shopping for cars! I had been to every dealership in the area looking for the ideal lease for my business. I was very disappointed to say the lease with every dealership I went to. It was by chance that I went into the Sunset Kia dealership, as I was on my way home after structuring the best deal or so I though. From the time I walk in to the time I drove off the lot in my new car, I had a great experience with M. Anthony McCatty (Anthony the Kia Guy). I was ready to pull the trigger on a fully loaded Camry at the time I went into the dealership. Anthony and I sat down, and I had a chip on my shoulder, and knowing that I already had a great deal from another dealership started to look at options and possibilities. I was very comfortable during the complete process. I decided on a Kia Optima Hybrid. When we were all said and done we were several thousand dollars apart from making the deal work. I can’t believe between him and Chris the F & I guy, that they got the deal to work with payments that I could not pass up. Better than what I was getting on the Camry deal, which was a great deal. So after you go to your favorite other dealer, and you think you have a great deal, I challenge you to go by and see the guy who I could easily call a friend, M Anthony McCatty, and let him do some magic for you. This the first recommendation I have written in Unilocal,as most of the time I use Unilocal to chastise other businesses on their poor performance. I’m happy to be writing these good comments.
