Buyer Beware! We had a low water pressure error on our dishwasher and made the mistake of calling Sears. The guy came out, charged us $ 307 to replace two parts, saying they were the cause of the issue. I should have known better, since he never actually looked at the dishwasher OR the original parts before saying they needed replaced. Needless to say, I tried to use the dishwasher the next day, not even 24 hours after it was serviced, and got the same error. So I called back and advised the customer service rep. She proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do because the dishwasher was under warranty(it isn’t) and I would have to call Samsung directly. I kept telling her there was no warranty and we paid out of pocket for Sears to fix it. We went back and forth for a good 30 minutes before she transferred me to another guy who tried saying the same thing and refused to set up another appointment. FINALLY, after an hour on the phone and requesting a manager(who I never got to speak to, because the guy said none were available), we got another appointment scheduled and were told the person would be out between 8am-12pm…in 3 days… Well, the guy never showed up. I then called customer service again and they tried to reschedule me for yet another 2 – 3 days out during working hours. I had to threaten to file a fraud claim just to get them to send someone back out the same day as the original appointment, after I got home from work. Managed to get someone out for a second inspection/repair and he barely spoke… Not even a «hello» when he showed up. He just walked in and said, «where is it?» He(hopefully) managed to repair the dishwasher, but would not tell me what he did when I asked.(Later realized he just reset a sensor.) Also found out the original parts replaced weren’t even damaged and didn’t need replaced. DONOTUSESEARSHOMESERVICES! THEYAREFRAUDSANDWILLRIPYOUOFF! What should have cost $ 69 to reset a sensor ended up costing us over $ 300. I will never use SEARS again, nor will I should in their stores. I NEVER write reviews like this. Trust me when I say RUNAWAY!

If you are looking for a good appliance repair service, check out Sears Home Repair. I used them a little while ago for my dishwasher that stopped working. It turned out that the wiring harness was loose in the back and the dishwasher needed plugged back in as well. I’m not one to mess around with this kind of stuff so I decided to call Sears repair. I reached an operator right away and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next business day. The service guy came out, was very professional, explained to me all of the expenses before he started working. There is a flat fee of $ 70 and any parts are extra. There are discount coupons all over the internet if you actually need a part which is nice. Go to for 20% off. Anyway, he was a licensed repair professional so he knew exactly what he was doing. He was here for about 20 minutes and did the job fast, testing all of the electronics on the dishwasher, ect. My dishwasher has been running smoothly ever since. I will be calling Sears Repair Service the next time I run into an appliance problem.
