Sears

Don’t buy Large Appliances or any mechanical item from Sears. They sell you equipment that have service issues and then don’t take care of their obligation.
Here’s what happened to me. I purchased top load large capacity Washer/​Dryer set. These units are Sears Elite which is their top of the line. The washer/​dryer has been under a service contract since the first day of purchasing the appliances.
I’ve had 3 service calls on both the washer/​dryer and was told twice there was nothing wrong. The third time the guy found rust on the washer and the dryer had a thermostat and fuse issue. The I was told that this series of washer/​dryer is a Major Problem Child
I called the corporate office of Sears and there answer was they would replace the washer but refused to replace the dryer. They are willing to give me 20% of the dryer I wanted to replace it other wise they felt that having a mismatched set was perfectly acceptable even thoughtI have a matched set now.
I’ve had ruined 4ea. 85.00 polo shirts and a set of 1000 count sheets which cost 299.95 at Bed Bat and Beyond. I’ve missed 3 days of work and tons of headaches since their service guys wouldn’t check the units.
Don’t get me started in my Vacuum. It took Sears 6 weeks to fix it.
My suggestion is NEVER EVER buy and mechanical item at SEARS

Being down in Longboat Key, FL for a vacation is great. Unfortunately, our car hit a bump 3 hours away from our destination which knocked out the air conditioner. The following morning, we brought the car in and they took us right away. Chance was the person in charge. He had a great personality and treated us very well.
They fixed the problem because it was minor and sent us on our way with plenty of our day to spare. If you have automotive needs, I recommend this Sears. They treated us right.

We like Sears, and after three years of living in Charlottesville, VA and frequenting the tiny store there, we were pretty floored to see how huge this Sears was. The staff here is friendly, and the stock is plenty.

I really got into wearing Land’s End attire when I lived in Bear Creek, Wisconsin for a few years in my 20’s. You can just imagine the look of amazement on my face when I stepped into my local Sears a month or so ago and saw it was FILLED with Land’s End! Immediately, memories of snowshoeing across Kickapoo Valley filled my mind, and I purchased as much clothing as I could stuff into my dog stroller. My original intent of visiting this Sears was to have my watch battery repaired, which I did have done after I overcame my Land’s End binge session. The repairman was extremely kind and quickly replaced my battery for me. I will 100% come back here for all my watch repair needs.
This Sears location also boasts a Portrait Studio, which I look forward to using in the near future since my husband and I recently adopted a baby hedgehog and need an updated family portrait. This Sears also has a Hair Studio. I am tinkering with the idea of perming my hair, and if I decide to do so, I will definitely come to Sears. Overall, my experience at this Sears has been positive, and I look forward to more shopping and excitement here in the future…
