Excellent place to stay. Go online to their website and peruse the many condos for rent. Make sure you look at the map overview of the properties to know exactly were your unit is located in proximity to the beach. The tower building with the lower numbers are closer to the beach. Example t901 is at the very end, therefore closer to the beach there are 12 floors in this building. We stayed on 9. There is a washer dryer on every floor, very convenient. The condos are all similar in size. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, with a living area/kitchen in the middle. Perfect for two couples. Lots of towels come with the units and they clean your condo and switch out the towels halfway through your week. The pool is nice, but don’t come any school vacation weeks unless you have headphones. Lol. Beach is the best beach I’ve been to. White talcum powder sand. Flat, and the water is warm. They have attendants bring you beach chairs(don’t forget to tip) you also can pay $ 20 a day for an umbrella. You will need it, the sun is very strong! We ended up going out and buying a $ 40 umbrella and some beach towels. You can reserve the grills at beachside for a span of two hours for a barbbque. We loved our unit so much we have already reserved it for next year!

This was our first trip to Siesta Key and we’re already planning our next! Sarasota Surf & Racquet Club was amazing. The condo was perfect, with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for us to spread out. The beach is absolutely beautiful and they furnish chairs for guests to use. Everything was clean and just perfect. We can’t wait to go back!

Sarasota Surf & Racquet Club is an amazing vacation location. I have had the opportunity to join my Aunt Judy here for the past two years and I have always had an amazing time. The beach is beautiful, they have beach chairs for us to use during the day, there are two community grills down on the seawall and there are plenty of picnic tables so that you can eat while watching the beautiful sunset, and you can rent cabana style chairs as well. It is right down the beach from the public Siesta Key beach which is a great time and there are tons of people. It is also a mile or so down the road from the village in siesta key. There are a few things that cause me to minus a star… The beach boys and girls pick up the chairs way too early. I’m talking… sun’s not even all the way down and they are all about getting the chairs up off the beach. And I understand that there are state laws about items on the beach at night that could negatively effect the turtles, but it would be nice to have a little more seating on the sea wall. Also, the units that I have been into have been a little out dated. They have that old florida, wicker furniture feel to them. Not bad, but my personal taste is more modern meets tacky Floridian touches. Overall, I love Siesta Key. It is an amazing place to bring a family for a week to just relax. It is very quiet and very chill. I love it.
