Fringe Spa Salon

Just moved to the area & read great reviews for Fringe. I had my first appointment with Amy for root regrowth, highlights & cut. Amy matched my color & highlights are well balanced. Nice cut & products, my thick hair feels silky.
When I saw my friends they commented how nice my hair looked.
Reduces the stress of moving by finding the right stylist & salon (with a comfortable atmosphere.)
I will be back in 4 weeks to see Amy at Fringe!

Karen has a fabulous eye for color and her fingers were made to cut. Great results followed our initial consultation in which she truly listened, gave honest (and professional) opinion and moved forth to style. It’s amazing what two hours in her chair can do – I walked out with a great cut and much healthier, shinier hair with a color that (as she thought would) made my eyes pop.

So happy to finally have found my stylist and salon in the area! Amy is awesome and so nice! She made me feel comfortable and gave me exactly what I asked for. The salon is cute, clean, and stylish! Looking forward to my next visit to try something new with my hair!

Traveling for a living sometimes interferes with hair appointments while I try to maintain the color and cut. So before heading to Sarasota on business I turned to Unilocal to read reviews on salons in the area. The reviews are obviously very good and I agree. My appointment was with Amy, she took special care to make sure she got my hair color to match perfectly and then finished with a nice trim. Loved my experience and wouldn’t hesitate to go to her next time I’m in town.

Cut and blow dry today from Amy, absolutely perfect! Great cut, wonderful atmosphere, finally found a place I want to return! You cant go wrong here!

What a terrific cozy salon, very inviting and I felt very comfortable. Amy was absolutely TERRIFIC! She is very friendly and helpful, she did a great job fixing a prior botched haircut. I’m now on my way to having an actual hair «style» and suggestion of a darker hair color to bring out my eyes :) Amy did a great job and I will definitely return to her for my haircare in the future.

Kaila was amazing! She completely took my vague description of what I wanted, and gave me the perfect hair color and cut! I came in with brassy, unmaintained highlights, needing a natural, classy look for my engagement pictures and she delivered! I now have beautiful, dark brown hair, layered to perfection. She was totally understanding, and willing to work with and improve on my ideas. I’m definitely making an appointment with her in the future to maintain my amazing hair! Totally worth my 1.5 hour drive from Sebring! Highly recommend.

I googled some places for a style and blow dry. I live out of State and was looking for a place to go that would doll me up quickly for a family photo shoot. I came upon Fringe. Without any prior knowledge of this establishment, I would certainly come again since they did an amazing job. Hair still looks great the day after!

This was my first visit to Fringe having just moved full time to Sarasota. Finding a new hairdresser can be a nightmare but I immediately hit the jackpot.
The salon atmosphere and all the staff were so welcoming and Karen was wonderful. She immediately knew how to deal with my curly hair and chose the perfect color and cut. I was really impressed by the fact that she recommended against expensive treatments thus cutting my bill and her profit.
I will definitely return and will recommend Fringe to all my friends.

By far one of the BEST salons in town! I am a Sarasota native and I’ve been to many salons around town but Fringe Spa Salon is by far the best and my favorite! Everyone in there including the owners are so welcoming and accommodating! The reviews will tell you I don’t need to :-) I know because thats how i found them. Inside the salon the atmosphere is so amazing and hard to describe. To me being its in an old house that seems to be original to downtown it is so cool as soon as you walk in. Then you have all the lovely talented faces that greet you! All the stylists are amazing but I landed Kaila Dissington I read about her on the website and said this one is for me :-) I have almost waist length hair and several highlights! Ive been searching for someone to do my hair with the new highlight styles and Kaila knows EVERYTHING i feel like about my hair, well and my moms, and my 2 daughters now as well! Kaila just KNOWS what to do with your hair! If you are looking for a makeover this is the place to go! I promise you wont be disappointed! Did i mention their makup artist Amy Young WOW when i tell you talented she is just… well no words for her work with makeup and hair she is all around awesome as well! I got permanent eyebrows, and permanent upper and lower eyeliner and Im so happy with it i cant even begin to explain! Please trust me when i tell you Fringe Spa Salon is where its at ladies! No age limits im 36 my mom is 57 my daughter’s are 15 & 20! They cater to all! You won’t be unhappy!

I really don’t want to tell you how good Fringe is because for selfish reasons I want to be able to get in when I want to. But I have to share the fact that I moved here after having a stylist in a large city for over 7 years. So, imagine the next person having rather big shoes to fill. But Karen rocked! I had my second appointment with her this past week and she is fantastic. Her staff is friendly and know what they are doing. Easy to get to and parking doesn’t seen to be an issue.

New to the area and a new stylist is always frightening but Sarah was the best at allaying those fears! My hair looks wonderful and I booked the next appointment before I left… even booked it early!

After moving to Sarasota and going far too long without a haircut because I was afraid of finding a new stylist, I happened upon Fringe. The atmosphere is lovely and inviting, and Amy listened and delivered on my request for a hip, short haircut/​style. I have since sent my mom, husband and daughters to Fringe. Excellent experience.

After moving here recently from a major city, I was in need of a good stylist in Florida. I initially tried a well known local salon, only to be dissatisfied with my overall service. When it came time for my next service, I came across Fringe Salon and the glowing reviews for Karen. I booked an appointment online, only to have Karen call me personally to ensure she allowed enough time for the services I needed. My hair was in need of some TLC and Karen did not disappoint! I would recommend Fridge and Karen to anyone in the market for a new salon!

This salon was great! Kaila took time and looked through pictures I brought and picked a color exactly to what I wanted ! I wasn’t sure when walking in what I wanted but I knew I wanted change. She put a ash/​copper balayage to my dark brown hair and I couldn’t have been happier!!!

I colored and cut my hair myself. Disaster!!! Karen came to the rescue the next day — even though I was a new client! I received many compliments! Thank you, Karen! I will be back and I will recommend you.

I am new to the Sarasota area and was looking for a salon that I could get into quickly. Not only was I able to get a same day appointment but they did a great job! Amy listened to what I wanted and bonus, they used the same product line as my previous salon so they were able to match my color exactly! Everyone was nice and I will absolutely return!

This is a review based on my experience as a boyfriend. I currently don’t posses enough hair to be a customer myself.
Karen did my gf’s hair yesterday and it came out looking + feeling amazing. She was very happy with the results, and the deal she got for the entire thing was very reasonable — I believe she got a cut, with color and highlights.
As a boyfriend not only I approve the work performed, but my lady looks amazing, with the added bonus that if she’s happy, I’m happy. Good place.

Typically, I cannot stand getting my haircut. Everywhere I go, they always cut more than I want. If I never had to get my haircut, I wouldn’t.
But this time, I tried Fringe Salon (Goodyear Rd)
and got the best haircut ever.
Carey did such a great job. I will absolutely go back!
