Just a note: it is NOT Sarasota, but Longboat Key, one of the islands near Sarasota… Qype-support-team told me to take the nearest place as Longboat is not yet in their map system… Cedars Resort gives you a perfect home if you are looking for some sports(like tennis, surfing and golf(…well I havent started to play golf but you see all those golfers cruisin around there…)), quiet atmosphere but close enough to some good bars and restaurants in the Sarasota/St. Pete area. The resort has several own tennis courts including a pretty professional tennis shop(lessons available!), a pool and quite a lot nice villas. The houses are spacious, ground level is garage, 1st level living room, nice kitchen and porch area(mosquito proof!!! yay!), second floor two bedrooms, two bathrooms and washing machine/dryer… So you are ready to relax there. I have stayed several times there… ideal for relaxing, but close enough to shopping malls in Sarasota/Bradenton or even a drive to St. Petersburg with the Dali museum etc. . Just one thing: watch out for the cops at night when you return back to your home via Cortez Bridge… dont drink and drive… :-))))
