Burlington Coat Factory

Lets be clear I am giving this store 2 stars for two reasons and two reasons only. It is filthy. It feels like I need a hepatitis shot just to walk through the doors. The carpeting is threadbare and covered in stains. The racks are dusty. It is the kind of place that just makes my spine creep when I have to walk around.
The second reason is for a store with the name «coat» in the title they have the worst selection of outerwear of any store. I have never once found a jacket or a coat that I would want to wear, that was fashionable, or that was functional. If you want members only knock-​offs or trenchcoats or other ugly outdated items that are always wrong for the season and temperature this place is for you. Not me.
That having been said, The prices are excellent on clothing and shoes. They have a pretty nice home furnishing/​accessory department. (By nice I don’t mean aesthetically) I mean in quality of goods and selection. the registers are always staffed up and the lines are never bad. The staff seem friendly and helpful.
With a total makeover this store and regular cleaning this store would get 4 stars. As it is though the only thing worse than my wife suggesting we go to Burlington is if she says lets go to the Walmart next door.

Great selections at decent prices. Sometimes we spend more time people watching, than actual shopping!

Lots of great deals but slightly cluttered and disorganized.

Carpets are gross. Not a clean store. Wouldn’t bring kids there.
