View was good and my salmon was good. One person had steak and another had coconut shrimp and both said they were ok. We had made reservations for 3 at 6 by the window. They tried to seat us outside, but the band was loud and it was too muggy. We had to wait until about 6:15 for the table.
Service was ok. Busboys seemed put out when silverware was requested. First host seemed uninterested in being there. Second one was friendlier.

Pretty setting and atmosphere, live music which makes it fun. The outdoor seating offers on the water views.
The food is decent. It’s more of a bar feeling, so plenty of appetizers and sandwiches with fries.
The mahi sandwich is pretty good, and so is the mango sangria!

Very nice ambience at this quaint waterfront eatery (drinkery). Shout out to Trenton a nice young man who waited on my girlfriend and I. Trenton the Hurricane lady put another tip in the mail… seriously, your real tip is in the mail!

Great atmosphere! Beautiful view overlooking the water, plenty of outdoor dining space, and unique/​yummy menu choices! The place was busy for dinner so Definitely call ahead and make a reservation! overall very happy with our experience! :)

Good food but the service is terrible. It took 15 minutes to get the glass of wine I ordered. The waitress then brought out our salads with the entrees. We sent the entrees back as that’s not really acceptable. When they finally bring our entrees back we get 3 out of 4. There is no apology just that they had to make everything again like it was our fault. We continue to wait for it to arrive — the rest of us are almost done and I ask to talk to the manager. The manager is too busy to come talk to us but will comp the meal since I asked. It’s just a poorly run restaurant which is too bad because it’s a great location.

The best Siesta Key restaurant we ate at while on vacation! My spouse had the rainbow trout and said it was amazing ate every bite. I had the ribeye it was cooked to perfection, served with the best vegetables, even the kids asked to eat them!

Decided to stop and have some appetizers before heading back to Miami. We sat outside where the weather was nice and sunny. The view was nice and we had a couple of Estela Artois beers and two orders of raw oysters. They were fresh and the horseradish sauce was just amazing. We also ordered the nachos with chicken and the serving was surprisingly a lot. My kids loved them. The music was really relaxing and appropriate setting. Would definitely come back whenever in Sarasota.

Loved this restaurant!!! The view is awesome on the water, the service was fantastic! We had the fish dip for an appetizer, grilled mahi mahi, fish and chips and crab legs! All were delicious and the guitar player/​singer was great! We were entertained while there and the nicest staff and guests you can ask for!

This location was recommended to me by our Captain Brian from Siesta Key water sports on our way back to the marina. As we are talking about local food he mentioned their grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich that was one of the best around! I was looking forward to it the entire boat ride back and we ordered it just a few minutes before we docked. I have to say Captain Brian was spot on as this is one of the best meals I had our entire vacation in siesta key!

I have always driven by this place and never eaten here before. I am so glad that I finally did.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We came during the live band and they were good and everyone was dancing.
I had the Mahi sandwich and it was delicious! They have other type of fish as well if you’re not into Mahi.
If I ever come back again to Siesta Key I will definitely come back one day.

The main reason we go to the Boatyard each year is the location. It’s great for sunset photos! They have a large outdoor seating area as well as an indoor (air conditioned) restaurant. Most nights they have live music, which is nice. The food is okay (in my opinion), but I also do not eat seafood. Most of my family enjoys the restaurant and the food. It seems to be overpriced…
Although I couldn’t care less about the food (and sometimes the service), I do enjoy the view and music. I’m sure we’ll still go back each year as it’s «tradition» and my family seems to enjoy it.
