I read the 2 previous reviews and they are spot on. I feel wrong giving this place even 1 star! My mother bought a phone and plan from them. She is a senior citizen and they obviously took advantage of her and sold her an out dated phone and terrible plan. Come to find out the phone had issues and I went with her to return defective phone and change her plan. After waiting a half hour I talked to the manager. He pointed out that we were 2 days over the 14 day return policy and he wasn’t willing to do a thing but offer Samsung customer service phone number. So we went to the closest Best Buy store and spoke with the manager. His 1st response was we will make this right. They not only took the phone back he gave us the newer model. They were so helpful that I went back to him and thanked him and told him they will have my future business. My advise, stay away from these Best Buy Moble satellite stores and stick with the main Best Buy Stores!

This was an exercise in stupidity. I am not by nature a mean spirited person and I don’t take time on Unilocal or any website to insult others but I genuinely don’t know how to be nice about this experience. There were two people working when I came in: The Assistant Manager and a sales person. Nobody bothered to look up and acknowledge my presence at first. Then the sales person offered to help, from behind the counter across the store. I asked if I had to come over to him or if he would join me and he said I had to come to him. The kid names something similar to Advil spent the entire time pushing Verizon. I wanted to compare plans and he just wouldn’t stop about how great Verizon was. Ok, if he is a fan that is great but it wasn’t what I came in for and he knew it. Most of what he said was just bad or incorrect information. At one point he was trying to tell me how much it would cost. He said $ 40+$ 40+$ 40 and then got stuck for the answer. I told him 4×3 was 12 and therefore $ 120 and he actually said«well Im not very good at math». This fact became apparent several more times when he then couldn’t figure out in his head what 10% of $ 120 was. Ok so bad math aside he was friendly if not helpful so I give him that. The Assistant Manager on the other hand was a sour faced, unpleasant person. Through the time the kid was trying to explain why Verizon is the king of all things she kept looking up and snapping«WHAT?», as though we were talking about her behind her back. She made an aggravating experience more painful. To be fair I heard her talking to another customer and she was trying to help the other customer but even that wasn’t friendly. I won’t be back to this store. There is an actual Best Buy 3 blocks south that I would rather walk to than ever step into this store again. They need to learn customer service badly and then get their information and facts correct. And then the store needs to close and start over as a math tutoring workshop.

This place represents every reason why you should order your phone directly from your carrier, and especially their website. Sure, they have all the devices there you can play with, but there is nobody to help you choose. The place is severely understaffed, 2 people working on a Saturday, spending about 30 mins with each customer. And that’s if there is no wait! I stopped in to get an iPhone 6, took over an hour. There were 2 people in front of me they spent over 20 mins with that bought nothing because they were not eligible. The people are nice, they try, but are completely held hostage by dumb processes. I kept having to say, «just sell me the phone… nothing else, here’s my credit card, let me pay so I can get on with life». There is nothing they do, that you can’t sitting at home talking on the phone to your carrier or using their website. They get the same run-around on the phone from the carriers and websites.
