Chief Complaint: AC was broken. Dad thought it was the capacitor but it turns out it was the condensor fan motor due to the incorrect wiring of the capacitor from the previous installation/​service by another company. Wayne was the technician today.

I quickly did research on Emerson condensor fan motors and they ranged from $ 80 to $ 100+ so essentially labor was $ 250 for 1 hour.
I’m a DIY type of guy but I would not have been able to tackle this alone or with the help of the web. The provided motor carried a 30 day warranty by AC DC and a 1 year limited warranty by the manufacturer.
Since this is the first time doing business with AC DC, I’m giving them 3 stars for now to see if there’s any future issues with the AC unit. If no further issues, I’ll add another star for great service.
