Fantastic! They treat their horses very well which is so important to me. Joyce was our instructor and she was very sweet. She had some knowledge of the area so we got a free history lesson with our ride. The hour went by so quickly because we had so much fun. My boyfriend and I had a great time and we’ll be back in the fall. Buttons the cat was so cute and friendly as well. All the horses were sweet and well mannered. Really a great time. Side note: make sure you have cash to pay and for the tip!

I had a day around placid lake, NY alone so I got a brochure of horse back riding 20 mins away. I’m a beginner. This place is awesome for horseback riding from beginners to intermediate! Or even kids! They have tiny horses for little kids which are so adorable. There are about 15 horses in the farm. The farm was run by a couple. since I went alone, so I had to take private lesson which was 88 bucks for 1 and a half hours. The girl who trained me has known horse for her whole life! The whole lesson was a pleasure. I learned how to command the horse to stop, to go or to turn. Very wirth money spent! Oh, it’s cash only.
