Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Stores

Sapulpa, Oklahoma– It’s more than the rich, creamy, goodness that is their ice cream. My stylish and handsome 83 year old favorite guy and I have been coming here my entire life. It’s a go-​to quickie and has really become a family tradition for breakfast and treats. They never disappoint. For breakfast we do biscuits and gravy –grandpa gets his with sausage. He said he likes ground piglet parts. Ummmmm ya, strange. Anyway, you can opt out of the sausage. The store is a convenient and fresh addition and we particularly love the grapes and bananas which are more flavorful than any in the area. Who would have thought?! If you do dairy, you cannot go wrong with any of the ice cream flavors. Grandpa’s fave is pecans and praline. We usually take home some ice cream sandwiches too which he gives two thumbs up.

Good food, but I feel like I’m eating in a cave. So dark inside, as well as numerous flies. Like I’m eating outside!

We come to braums most Sunday nights, ask for Julie, she always gives generous amounts and all the other workers give little scoops.

Traveling through and hungry. If you are looking for clean, this is not it. The person behind the cash register who was the age of my grandchild insisted on calling me sweetie and honey… hate that. :(

Big fan of Braums. Especially the ice cream. I grew up in sapulpa and this place has always been a staple — love the new building. When we are back in town we always have to make a Braums run.
Tonight, my mom wanted her usual black walnut (I call it the old peoples ice cream) but they were out according to the young man behind the counter. The manager told him to go look in the back, which he did, but retuned empty handed. The manager told us to wait a minute and magically returned with a big carton of black walnut.
While I am not a dan of black walnut, I am a fan of good service.

Great burgers and shakes. It is usually crowded on Sunday nights. Their service is fast also. You won’t be disappointed with this restaurant.

I love Braum’s! I’ve been to Dairy Queen, Baskin Robbins, and various other ice cream places. No ice cream, store-​bought or fresh, compares. When I go off to college, I stop eating ice cream because I can’t get good Rocky Road in Memphis. It’s just that simple.
