I brought in some very sentimental jewelry — I needed a couple rings resized and a custom piece made. They did the work well and quickly. They’re also a hoot!

I tried to enter to get a some work done on jewelry at 10:15 am and opened the door to the owner shouting at me to get out because they were not open yet. I tried to tell him I was sorry and that the website stated it was open at 10 am. He was rude, insulting and had a persona befitting a mafia goon. This guy even tried to provoke a fist fight with me with street slang and vulgar gestures. Take your business somewhere else, this sleaze lacks etiquette for a vendor in San Francisco.

I was looking all over the city for a necklace to give my boyfriend for our anniversary. I’m so glad I came to this shop! I was immediately helped and put at ease(apparently I had a deer in headlights expression on my face). I found the perfect necklace which they polished, boxed and gift wrapped! I plan on coming back in the future to get some custom work done!

Only go for extremely basic repairs. For a more complicated one, it took a month. They damaged the finish of the necklace. The repair looks ugly. The repair didn’t fix the original problem. It was also really expensive.

— POSSIBLETHEFT — - came in to downsize my grandfather’s gold ring and got it back with some different colored gold and marks. I believe that they kept the extra gold because the back of the ring now looks suspiciously thin compared to the larger ring a brought in.

Got my wedding ring resized here — they did a good job and the ring looks great, but the hours are awful for anyone who has standard working hours. They are open from 11AM — 6PM Tuesday through Saturday. It took me about 3 weeks to be able to get back and pick it up because of weekend trips.

This is a great little place for jewelry repairs. I have brought in several pieces and everything has come back quickly, done well, and for a fair price. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. I truly recommend this place.

Zee Jewelry has rescued me for two rebeading projects: a gorgeous necklace given to me by my sister which was starting to fall apart, and a pair of evening shoes with beaded decorations which were also starting to unravel. Both times Zee did a fabulous job at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Came here while making time to get a battery replaced in my Polar heart rate monitor. My regular place was closed so looked on Unilocal for the closest alternative. Greeted by super friendly staff who were more than happy to replace while I waited. So convenient since I have very limited time on the weekends. Reasonable price and plenty of jewelry to browse through while you wait. Will definitely return.

Brought my watch in here to replace the battery. The back case was loose and popped off but the technician fixed it after I brought it back.

I first went there around 6 months ago to buy a charm for my girlfriend. The guy I talked to was pretty nice even though he was trying to sell me more things than I was asking for. He apparently has been pretty convincing because I told him I’d like to purchase 2 more of their charms the following month for christmas. They didn’t have it in stock so they wrote down my order on a piece of paper and told me to call them whenever to confirm so they can pass the order. Few weeks later, I give them a call back to get those 2 new charms. A woman that I saw the previous time picks up the phone and refuses to do the ordering unless I come to the shop. Even after explaining her the situation, she just keeps saying no in a very mean way. They’re open from 1030 to 6 during week days, which is not compatible with my work week, so she«offers» me to come on saturday(few days before christmas) so she can do an express ordering and charge me an extra $ 50 for that, instead of just ordering it right away. The charm I initially bought broke after 5 weeks.

i HATE them. if i can give them negative stars, i would. i really HATE them. brought in my watch to replace the battery. instead of replacing the battery, they broke — i mean like literally broke my watch. they tried to fix what they broke and replace the battery — took them forever — keep telling me that the guy who can fix what they broke isn’t around — WTF. i finally get my watch back and my watch works for a few days and now it’s completely dead again. the hands on the face is detached from the face, battery dead, and you can’t even move the dial to fix the time… i don’t even want to take it back to them to fix what they broke — i don’t even want them to touch it. period. i am just pissed that they are not owning it up to what they have done. they are what you called crooks. they are useless. stay away from them. they should be ashamed of themselves for being ripping people off.

I’ve known Charles for over 15 years, and I elected to sell some jewelry and have some repairs done. I have never seen such terrible repairs in my life. This has also been verified by much better jewelers. He is incredibly insolent and a scammer. After he somehow overlooked 2 diamond rings and 2 pairs of diamond earrings after I placed several pieces of jewelry on the display tray, he gave me a price, and I asked, «What about these pieces?» He then put his magnifier down and said, «I just don’t want to give you the money. Go sell it at a pawn shop or something.» I collected my jewelry and walked straight out the door. I will NEVER work with Charles again. He should be ashamed to call himself a top-notch jeweler.

I am sad to report a VERY bad experience I had at this jeweler. I brought in a few antique family heirloom rings and a Louis Vuitton bracelet. Both rings needed small garnets replaced and one of the rings I requested to have the stones and settings tightened. The Louis Vuitton bracelet needed a small repair as well. My pieces were done very quickly and at a reasonable price. The first time I wore one of the rings(the one I also asked all stones to be tightened) the tiny garnet fell out. Luckily I scoured the store where I work and found it. Upon further inspection of the ring I noticed globs of clear glue had been used to set the replaced stone. Also many of the stones were sitting improperly in the setting and wiggling around. I went back and spoke with a nice Woman behind the counter. I asked to have it re-repaired and requested no glue be used in my ring. The glue was unsightly and clearly did not properly repair my ring. A large bald man turned around and said loudly«We will just put more glue» I know he heard my request to NOT use glue, so I am not sure if he was trying to be funny but his tone suggested annoyance at me bringing back the ring and questioning his shoddy work. I should have taken my ring and walked out, but I agreed to let them fix it again. The following day I wore the second ring and my Louis Vuitton bracelet. The replaced garnet in that ring fell out too, except I wasn’t able to find the stone. The bracelet repair also dislodged. I noticed again that in both pieces the same crappy glue was used. I decided to seek out another jeweler for my repairs. After a few days my fiancé went to pick up the re-repaired garnet ring. He inspected it and asked the bald man about the glue that had been originally used and if this repair was done properly and glue-free. The man blatantly denied the use of glue and when my fiancé said that I had seen glue in the settings the man questioned whether he had seen it for himself. Insinuating I had lied about it. Then he added«you won’t see glue now…» My experience with this man was that he was rude, chauvinistic and a very shoddy jeweler. He accused me of lying when I pointed out his lack of skill when completing my repairs. I ended up having to take my ring to a new jeweler because the repairs were STILLNOTDONEPROPERLY!!! I cannot believe it. I will never go to this place ever again. It’s very unfortunate because I had planned on buying my Wedding Rings there, but I just cannot support such a poorly run business and awful work.

What a great hidden gem(pun intended) in the city! I brought a ring in to be resized. The work was fast and reasonable and Charles did a good job. I can see that this place may be dangerous for me! There are so many great, unique pieces in here. Matt(I think it was Matt) was super nice and showed me all kinds of stuff and answered all my questions. I can’t wait to come back and buy stuff!!!

Had my watch strap repaired here & only took about just over 5 mins, barely enough time to look at half the merchandise. $ 5 was the cost & well worth it.

This place has a nice selection of estate and vintage jewelry at good prices. I love that sort of thing so this is a good spot to check from time to time. The owners are friendly, but can be abrasive depending on the day. For repair work, they are fine for fixing a clasp, replacing watch batteries and simple repairs. Do not, I repeat, DONOT take rings to them for resizing. The work on that is sloppy and unprofessional. Fortunately, I took my «good stuff» elsewhere.

$ 8 for a new battery and $ 20 for a new band for my watch today made me a happy camper… especially since my boss was just charged $ 15 for a new watch battery at a place on Union Street! I was taken care of quickly and courteously, my only complaint was I wasn’t given a receipt… didn’t realize it ’til I was too far away to want to turn back.
