Sadly the economy caused them to raise their prices, but only by a tad bit. This is my go to place for breakfast when I was working at One Market. Reasonably priced, made fresh and oh so tasty. My usual order consists of one of the following items: –Lox and Cream cheese bagel sandwich –Eggs Benedict –Breakfast Burrito –Hash Browns They usually stop serving breakfast by 10:30am but I came at 10:45am once and they were sweet enough to heed to my begging. SCORE! Their tuna melts are the BEST! Greasy, fat, and cheesy, just the way I like them!

I found them! They are at Rincon under the name«Flames» apparently. The chocolate malts are still as crazy sweet and delicious as ever! yay :)

I am so disappointed, more of distraught actually, to find this place is CLOSED!!! My milkshake workdays are now over! :*( I remembered a lot of people going there just for the shakes.

GONE! The precious is gone! Yes Burger has picked up and left. 2 days before they disappeared there was a sign saying they were moving to Rincon Center, but I searched high and low in Rincon and found no sign of them. I can only hope they’re still just moving in. I’m sorry to say that there’s now no burger at Yes burger. UPDATE: Yes Burger has become Flames Burgers over in Rincon — and yes, it’s the same great burgers! Sweet.

As you can see, I generally don’t give any One Star reviews — I figure, «Why Bother?» In this case, I feel that the injustice I’ve experienced must be given a voice(Hey — they short changed me on my Fried Chicken order! Yes that’s right, fried chicken!) Situation # 1 — I had a 10 minute window to run down to grab some breakfast(they do have a great breakfast menu at reasonable prices — breakfast is safe and you can’t do much to mess up bacon and pancakes) I stepped up to place my order at 10:59 am, only to be told that breakfast was over and I had to order off the lunch menu. UGH! Fine! I was hungry and time was ticking. I ordered the Patty Melt as it was one of the few things that wasn’t served on their Sea Sponge like buns. I stepped aside to wait for my order, but then noticed that 2 other customers behind me ordered breakfast! Are you kidding me??? Situation # 2: A few colleagues were raving about their fried chicken. It was crispy and tasty as the chicken itself was marinated. OK — let’s give it another try. For $ 5.49 you get 4 pieces of chicken — french fries or onion rings are extra. OK — no big deal, I ordered the fried chicken and curly fries — my bill came out to $ 8.12 after tax. My colleagues ordered the same. I watched as the cook prepared my meal — he realized that my order was to go, he proceeded to take the plate of fried chicken and fries and dump them into a box — spilling half the fries as well as a piece of chicken. Another person handed me the box and when I brought up the fact that some of my order was on the floor, I was told that the chicken comes pre-packaged and that my package had only 3 pieces of chicken in it. OK, but the one piping hot piece that’s laying on the floor just materialized on it’s own and my two other colleagues were holding a box full of fries and 4 pieces of fried chicken. So, my conclusion is that Yes Burger is NOT a place for everyone. However, if you are one who doesn’t mind being shortchanged and craves poor service — this definitely is the place for you!

I allowed myself to be convinced to go to Yes Burger with three other coworkers. How could it be possible to cook a burger this tasteless and dry? Somehow Yes Burger found a way… Two of us gave our half-eaten burgers to a homeless man at Justin Herman Plaza. Yes Burger? Moar liek No Burger, amirite?

Fie ! Those sandwhich and burger buns are about as tasty as a pile of leaves; at best they representeth a bland loave of fretful matter meant for a grovelling peasant that wallows in mud and misery. This is not food fit for a King ! Oh Woeful shadows and a blight upon thine meridian ! Don’t be lulled or hypnotized by the all-you-can-want Ranch dispenser. These are unworthy peddlars of all that is boring and wicked. Mine burger should be a MAGICAL experience… not some dull exercise in the woes of the world. Oh woe is meee… the scrolls doth take displeasure at coppers lost, and stomachs crossed. Oh fie ! Woe! Fieeeee!

This just might be the best burger near work. They sport quick service and inexpensive food. I am supposed to order a Malt, since it’s Yes Burgers and MALT’s, right? Well, I didn’t. I wanted to save all the calories and fat and apply them to the burger and fries. Water for me will be just fine.(It helps that I’m not too crazy for Ice Cream. close your mouth.) I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with Swiss, and it was better than Burger Gourmet or Bistro Burger. The fries were pretty good too, and tasted like they were freshly cut. It was a pretty good deal at about $ 8, or something like that. The buns are good too, as they don’t fall apart as soon as it gets soaked in burger juice. On Fridays only, they offer Fish and Garlic Fries for maybe $ 9. Why don’t they offer them EVERY day? I’ll go back again when I want another burger. Cram up next to the other office people in the communal dining eating area. Update 2÷29÷08. I wanted some garlic fries. I have one word for you. DON’T. I could only eat 4 of them before the salt would have killed me. They don’t taste like they put fresh garlic on them. Maybe they used garlic SALT, and they have to salt the fries, right? Maybe double salted? They were inedible and I threw the whole thing away.

I have to give two thumbs up to this place. Always filling up my tummy with their good burger, that comes with a really good bun(no flaky bun here, that always falls apart). Good burger to bun ratio. I’m not crazy about the fries, but the workers always give them to me for free when I order only a hamburger. Get to know the managers. They’re always about giving people the hook up – especially if you frequent the place. Breakfast is great too! Try the pancakes first, then the french toast, and then you can wander to whatever else your eyes or stomach want to try. Don’t go any time between 1145 p.m. to 130 p.m. It’s a madhouse!

Just say no to Yes. In the Bayside Cuisines food court of One Market Plaza is this in-line stand that serves burgers and fries, and on Fridays, a $ 9 plate of Fish and Chips. The lunch hour is a zoo, and the wait can be unbearable. But no more unbearable than the food. Scorchingly hot from the fryer, the fish pieces were inedible at first for the heat but then for the strange soapiness in the flavor. The fries were plentiful but of the same condition. In good conscience, I cannot give this a one-star rating because I have to believe the worker bees that buzz around this place are repeat customers who come down from their bustling hives on the upper floors. But with the San Francisco Fish Company in the Ferry Building a mere block away, why would anyone settle for this travesty when for just fifty cents more, you can get a far tastier plate of fresh fish and chips? Nancy Reagan was right …“Just Say No”. FOOD — 1.5 stars… I bun my tun AMBIANCE — 3 stars… it’s a food court buzzing with worker bees SERVICE — 2 stars… the wait is unbearably long at lunch TOTAL — 2 stars… barely but I’m not likely to return any time soon to seek redemption since I don’t work in the building

Hey — that was a pretty tasty veggie burger, and for a few bucks less than Bistro Burger down the street. I’d have liked a plate for it, instead of half-wrapping it in paper and slapping it on the tray, but that’s OK. I’ll be back anyway.

So I decided to give my sushi place a break and then I also decided not to go across the way to the tasty pasta place I fancy. I decided to come here for the second time, perhaps try something different. I was with another person and we kind of had that fast food crave. It was not as busy and the menu had some good choices to make a selection from. I decided to go with a chicken sandwich and a drink. She got a hamburger, drink and we shared fries. I have to admit the service was somewhat fast because it wasn’t as busy at the time and the workers here were nice. So, I get my chicken sandwich and bite into it… The taste was odd. It had some tangy dressing on it. It wasn’t ranch dressing either. Everything else was fine on the sandwich, but that tangy taste was gross. Well, our fries were good and she liked her hamburger so that is why I give this place 3 stars. — — — — — — — - 4⁄20 Had the cheeseburger. Not that great, not appealing at all.

Ummm… the best thing about this place is that they have a free for all ranch dispenser right next to the mustard and ketchup. That’s amazing.

I work in the building and I usually come to this spot for breakfast and squash that craving for chili fries and/or I only have $ 3 for lunch. BONUS: they just put a breakfast menu on the wall but it’s not like i need it since my usual breakfast there would be a breakfast sandwich or a bagle(or breakfast burritto if i’m hung over) SO why just 3 stars? I made the mistake of ordering a BLT here once and I only got a measly 2 strips of BACON! Seriously WTF? I take my bacon very seriously and if you cheat me of that then you are so close of being DEADTOME — but like i said, luckily other things on the menu are pretty tasty so you almost forget about«only 2 strips of bacon» thing in the BLT. And it was no mistake — that’s all that they put for any type of sandwich calling for bacon! Don’t fuck with me, my money or my BACON!

I got a grilled chicken sandwich combo(with a choco malt to boot) for about $ 9(that’s a lot) but considering I paid the same(sans malt) at Manhattan Hub, I’d say YBM has the better deal. The chicken was moist(so they didn’t overgrill it!). Fries were ok — at least it’s plentiful. Service was quick. Food wasn’t greasy. My only complaint was that there was too much mustard in my sandwich. It was so much that my eyes started tearing!

Do I like Yes Burgers & Malts? I hope so, since I go there nearly daily for my yummy breakfast burrito. The coffee is good, and it beats the hell out of waiting in line at Starbucks. If I’m feeling special, I get the fabulous fresh squeezed OJ. p. s. if you just want a quick, healthy breakfast, go with the oatmeal. It’s yummy!

Veggie burgers are a staple in my diet — somehow, I just feel ‘better’ if I have one once or twice a week. These guys know how to make them — wholewheat bun, well-grilled patty, excellent HOMEMADE fries — mmm, mmm, mmm! They also do a nice grilled cheese sandwich and half-decent fish and chips(for American). Oooh — and they take all credit cards, which has helped me out on a couple of occasions. How does that phrase go? «I would gladly pay you Tuesday for a veggie burger today». Something like that. Think how different the world could be if Wimpy had been a vegetarian. Spinach and veggie burgers for everybody!

Located in the food court of 1 Market Plaza serving lunch for office workers in Financial District. PROS: I liked the buns. Has substance so the juice doesn’t make it soggy, but not french bread hard so that it’s so hard to eat. Price was reasonable for a downtown lunch. CONS: I usually like fresh cut fries, but these became soft really fast, not crispy at all. Beef was ok, but kind of thin. Overall a good burger, but not great.

This place is pretty decent. Cheap too! I dont’ know why I’ve never been to One Market Plaza. I had the Ranch Chicken Sandwich. It was good but tasted more like a melt instead of a sandwich. Very drippy. My friend had a burger that looked good and we shared onion rings. Crispy batter and not too much oil. The burgers come in a very diner-esque white paper wrapper and they have regular burger/sandwich fare on the menu w/some salads. I would definitley go back. Especially since I’m Bistro Burger maxed out…

This use to be a staple of mine when I worked in this building and I’ve been back a couple times even after, as well, to meet lunch with some old colleagues. The fries are fresh cut and the burgers are flame broiled tastily and quickly even when there’s a giant line. Quality buns and condiments. I really liked the guy running the place too. Nice fellow. Combo of burger, fries and drink was priced pretty reasonable for the convenience of not having to leave the building if you work there and don’t have time for a leisurely lunch, but if you do, take in some nice sun in the outdoor seating along Mission.
