I’ve gotten breakfast twice here and the prices are pretty good. I got the omelettes(comes with hashbrowns and a toast), mushroom & cheese omelette and denver omelette and they’re all delicious. I’d definitely come here and eat again!

My review is just for the Bim Bim Bop. While the flavors were solid I found the quantity of the meat to be on the skimpier side. That along with the price gives it only 3 stars. You get more bang for your Bim Bim Bop at HRD, but if you can’t leave the area and crave some K-food then this place is it.

Stopped while in the area and hungry for lunch. Great place, great menu selection(burgers, sandwiches, korean/asian/teriyaki), nice atmosphere/location. Parking is fairly easy. Prices are very decent. The chicken teriyaki was good, might try a burger or sandwich next time.

Ordered chicken fried rice. Came with 5 small pieces of undercooked chicken(pink inside) and when I said chicken was undercooked she said OK and looked away. 2 stars coz few other things here taste decent.

Every time I go to this place it’s packed, but somehow they manage to make the food relatively quickly. I usually get the bibimbap and it is delicious. The staff is really friendly… I think the only people who work here are the owners(husband and wife). This place is definitely not fancy, but it’s one of the few places in this part of the city that has Korean food so I keep going back.

I like this place; it’s like a good hole in the wall find for it’s area; it’s my go to place for breakfast/brunch or lunch in the potrero hill area. There’s also another café with a bar a few blocks away, but they don’t seem as friendly as the people here; plus I think it’s slightly cheaper here. Food is good, not great, but at minimum decent; not bad at all. The only thing I always notice and bothers me is every time I’ve gone here is they don’t seem to wipe down the tables or clean them whatsoever after someone finishes eating. They just take away the dishes and that’s it. So that’s why I gave 3⁄5 stars because of the lack of cleanliness. That and it’s kinda annoying to have to get your own eating utensils because it’s right next to the cash register where you pay and usually there’s a line and people are in the way. At least place the utensils elsewhere. Anyways, I’m still a fan of this place and if they actually wiped the tables down after someone ate at a table and put the utensils more conveniently located then I would definitely bump this up to 5 stars.

Time: 2:17pm/63°F partly cloudy Purpose: On this off day, I was going around town enjoying weather just driving around. Since I always drive company car my own is hardly driven, only on weekends. So today I wanted to lube the gaskets and parts. Not good to leave it sitting for even a week or more. Ambiance: Located in an industrial warehouse/storage like area on 16th street. This place would be the last place to grab a bite heading towards third street. Looks like one of those shops in movies were the cast got lost and things starts happening in town. Place has plenty of seating all shapes and sizes of tables plus counter seating. The cashier area is somewhat messy with lots of items flooding the register. Inside is more of a home kitchen than for commercial use. Basic things like stand alone ice cream freezer, snack shelfs, wire baskets, beverage fridge etc. Its just too pack that it confusing as to where to pay. BTW their paper menu prices are different from overhead blackboard prices. Ask questions if you need to! Its your hard earn money. Staff: Korean woman around early 50s, however looks younger than she look for her age. Quiet and calm talks to you only when you order, all other times she looks downward in front of a booklet. She doesn’t seem like the kind to joke with you unless she knows you. I didn’t have any problems here just order, pay and wait. Back of the house Hispanic girl was more charming than the owner. She smiles while, I raised up number card. Smile at me while heading back too. Very rare to have workers in back to treat you better than front end workers. Just saying. Cleanliness: Grade B, some areas need wiping. The only close together table outside, chairs needs a grease cleaner. Fingerprint smudges and crumbs from who knows how long it has been there. Score card posted a 90 from the SFHD. Eats/Drinks: Turkey burger with everything $ 5.69 tax included and bottle of Snapple $ 1.95. What can I say? I was curious anytime when theres turkey of anything. After first bite, I didn’t find it quite pleasing here. Patty were that of the frozen version that you can get in frozen meat section in plastic sleeves. Good indication was perfectly round looks like machine shape and form. No seasoning or an attempt to do so, very bland tasting. Buns were definitely the restaurant depot out of package type with, spray color coated plus the usual sesame seeds. So sad that mayo was not enough to saturate the bun while tomatoes and lettuce had water beads. This made the bottom bun soggy when lifted, half the bottom bun fell off exposing half patty. Had to flip it upside down to have some kind of foundation support. Slowly, but surely I finish it. Main Features: Korean and Japanese food. Runner up would be the hot plates generous amount of everything. Even the meat was plenty, saw a girl enjoying her dish. Left me licking my lips after my burger. :P“ Products/Services: Eggs and things, omelettes, egg white omelette, griddle cakes, breakfast sandwich, breakfast combos, side/apps, burgers, sandwiches, roll sandwiches, salads, teriyaki, donburi, udon, tempura, bulgogi, bibimbob, won ton, kimchi, miso soup. Soda/juices, hot/cold beverages, ice cream, desserts. Daily specials available only M-F. Coffee by America’s Best/tea by Stash, Lipton, Biglow, Celestial. Punch Lines: Run down, plenty of seating, serves up 3 types of ethnic eats, sells cigarettes, struggling during peak hours, unisex restroom, takes plastic, most items package, close together tables, modest cost, laid back, calm vibe, lackluster ambiance, lively atmosphere, snooty service, nothing out of the ordinary, pretty plain décor, outside seating, average food, slow wait time, street parking, industrial area, gyms, cafes, ATM’s, minutes from 280 freeway. Tradeoffs: Place tries hard to please in areas that haven’t had success, but turns out a bust from the beginning. Stick with what you do best and improve, don’t offer items that are not in your best interest because others do so. Final Thoughts: It seems that, I’m always getting bad luck when going to places that offers more than it can handle. May be today order wrong item or they’re normally like that. Everyone else looks although they’re eating gourmet or better. Sits there quietly eating and people watching. One movement and they all turn attention to you. Again, I may never know what these patrons lifestyle is, but I didn’t enjoy my burger as much.

used to like this place, before the new owner switched over. i ordered there SPECIAL of the DAY, Vegi Fried Rice w/Chickenkatsu. Let me tell you, this was NOT fried rice at all, it was soggy rice coming from the Rice Cooker, with a few vegies thrown in and the Chicken did not taste like chicken, it was rubbery!!! No way, was i going to take another bite, This is SICK! Damn i paid $ 10 for this. What the hell, i am not coming back! STAYAWAYFROMTHEIRFREIDRICEANDCHICKENKATSU, very gross, bad! Why are there so many people here?

Best blue collar breakfast and lunch in the city. Large portions of good food. Enough to keep any man working all day with a smile on his face. The staff is always friendly and the coffee is always hot!

I really want to give this place a good review because the owner is nice to me, but after having a talk about the food here with my roommate and finding out he has got sick off there food twice its hard to. I came in for lunch the other day and there were dirty dishes on all the tables and flys all around. When I got my food there was an obviously rotten orange on it. With a little more love this place could be a killer spot and I hope to see it improve because it’s so close to me and I want to support small businesses like this.

I randomly come to get my breakfast here. The lady who run this joint is very sweet and the food is very reasonable price. and the portion are awesome. I don’t usually eat this type of food for breakfast every day due to my workout diet. Ounce in while my body needs a regular breakfast:). I’ve eaten here from breakfast to the” Korean –Japanese plate«and the food has good favors. I’d highly recommend for you to give tho place a try.

I have to admit I’ve only eaten cheeseburgers & fries & diet coke at Wolfe’s, while there are many more options on the menu. As far as I’ve tried it, the food’s been solid, and I’ve heard good things about their other options. This place is near multiple schools, so there’s a big student crowd. They’ve got a good amount of space, though, and I’ve never had trouble finding a seat. All the staff-members I’ve spoken to have been friendly and helpful. There’s one lady there who can be kind of bossy, but honestly she just pleasantly reminds me of my grandmother(also pretty bossy). The place is clean, including the bathroom. Always a positive thing.

Have they changed owners? Where is nice Korean man? And who is cooking now? The food is not the same anymore. Went today for Korean food. The bulgogi was overcooked. It was so tough that I had a hard time chewing it. And the portion size is smaller than before. This used to be a nice little hole in the wall place to grab lunch. Don’t know anymore…

It’s hard to give a good review for this place. I believe most of their business comes from local residents and employees located nearby. Also, their lunch hour is where they make their profits. Anyway, back to the order of business: food. Usually, I can convince coworkers to go to establishment A or B simply by stating: «I feel like _____, who wants to join me at _____?» Fill in the first blank with Chinese/Sushi/Noodles/Burritoes/etc and the second blank with the name of the establishment. What’s different with Wolfe’s Lunch is that you can’t really fill in the first blank. Is it Korean, Japanese, Chinese, or American? There’s a little of everything for you such as steaks, eggs, chinese food, korean food, you name it. So how can I review a place if I can’t even figure out the categorization? *** Well, there’s one word I can fill in the blank — «Cheap». I feel like cheap food, who wants to join me at Wolfe’s Lunch?

Even though this is mainly a burger place, I usually get Korean BBQ dish since there are so many other excellent sandwich shops nearby. Their food isn’t exceptional(it’s no better than college cafeteria food), but there’s such a large variety of choices that you can keep coming here over and over after you grow tired of all other nearby locations. The restaurant has somewhat of a homey charm to it.

I’m definitely a big fan of supporting my local(Korean) business and I’m always curious to see how they mesh burgers and kimchee together. Well, not literally together but you know what I mean. It’s across from the culinary school so there are times when groups of would-be chefs flock to this place like seagulls on spilled popcorn, steampunk kids waxing poetry, and construction workers grabbing a quick bite all at the same time. I like to stop by when I’m stuck in traffic on the 101 and the mood for bibimbop strikes me. I’ve never had any of their chicken sandwiches or burgers but those seem to be terribly popular from what I could hear in the line ahead of me. I like the dirty electric feel of the place. Plastic utensils and condiments are strewn around the counter or a makeshift cart at times, newspapers are everywhere, and there’s plenty to look at while you’re sitting on a stool staring out at the street. If you’re fortunate enough to get a spot on the Anchor Steam tour, stop here first and have yourself some Americanized Korean food. I say the bibimbop is Americanized ’cause there’s just something not quite right with it. It may be the seasoning in the bulgogi, it might be the lack of sesame seeds on my fried egg, or the lack of sesame oil but something is definitely missing there. In any case, it’s a decent Korean-American lunch spot and the people watching makes up for the authenticity.

Still waiting for a Vampe’s Lunch to open across the street so the Korean #teamjacob vs #teamedward battle can rage on. I love how it’s sometimes a shred spot for skaters, who go in and out the back every once in a while for refreshments. Chicken Bibimbap Unagi Donburi(I don’t recommend) Pancakes Sandwich(DIY) Breakfast is only served till 12:00. Rise ‘n’ shine.
