I have to say Wildcraft has the best tasting mocha I’ve ever had! There are tons of great coffee shops in the Castro and Mission but nothing compares to Wildcraft’s mocha! It’s a must try!

Wildcraft is what makes the Castro feel like home. Every time I walk in, Theresa and her staff greet me with a smile and some of the freshest expresso I’ve ever tasted. The buttery pastries melt in my mouth, and the sheep’s milk is a perfect touch. So happy or have such a wonderful business in the neighborhood!

Sleek, beautifully designed espresso shop. The staff are friendly, and the business is queer owned. Delicious Ritual coffee brewed to perfection. Enjoyed the experience very much.

The latte with sheep’s milk is nothing short of extraordinary. In terms of dollars and calories, this is more a treat than a habit — very decadent, creamy and rich. The sheep’s milk completely steals the thunder that it would be a mistake to waltz into this espresso bar and order straight espresso. My boyfriend surprised me with an iced latte and I was so completely enamored by this dessert/coffee that I went back for a hot version the very next day! I got to see the place for myself — a beautiful, delicate storefront. There’s a little table inside and a few chairs, but it’s not made for lounging around. The service is really friendly, and the place is located in a great neighborhood — perfect for a grab-n-go.

Simple menu, clean design, and thoughtful wax paper with each coffee. The owner was there to answer all of my questions and they had Chicken Broth and Sheep’s Milk as specialty treats. It’s a small shop but you won’t feel crowded. Worth trying if you are on Market and needing an afternoon pickup.

Pretty mediocre cold brew. Too bitter without much personality. Maybe they have other things that stabd out but i wouldnt come here for cold brew. Nice branding though.

Fabulous coffee, and excellent service. I got a cortado and it went down super smooth. Their presentation is super aesthetically pleasing as well. They share the same address as a business looking building, but they’re around the corner from that. Def a good stop to get a pep in your step. Also great for people watching since it intersects about three streets.

Amazing coffee and chatty curtious staff. One of the best Capps I’ve had. Coffees a little pricey, but we’ll worth it

Being the coffee snob that I am, I was curious to try this place out because of the sheep’s milk. Never had coffee with sheep’s milk ever so I was curious. Man, I was totally blown away, no kidding. I ordered my usual flat white with sheep’s milk(that will set you back $ 5, slightly more expensive than your usual coffee but hey, we all deserve a treat once in a while!). Everyone was super friendly there. Got my flat white in a matter of minutes. While waiting, Mikey(hope I got his name right!) offered me some bone broth that tastes totally amazing. They’re currently having a collaboration with a place hence they gave out samples of the broth. Flat white was amazing — temperature was right(how to sniff out a bad flat white in the first sip: it’s too hot) and there was a slightly sweet aftertaste lingering. Not overpowering, just ever so slightly but that got me totally hooked. Mikey came over and offered me another round of sample of the broth. Great service, great coffee. Totally coming back if I’m ever in the Castro again!

We walked in the other day and met Teresa, Jordan and Mikey. Nice people with a great wee espresso bar. There’s a lot of coffee choices in the area but this is our new favorite local spot.

3.5 stars, pretty and clean décor and friendly service. Cold brew was from a stumptown bottle, poured over a cup of ice. Pretty certain it was less than the full bottle. I might be back to try an espresso drink but unlikely to go out of my way past other coffeeshops to do it.

Came in during a leisurely sunday stroll and was lured in by the promise of. sheep’s milk? You heard me right, and my latte with this newfound addition had so much depth and creaminess that i may never go back to conventional cows milk again. One star docked for a mediocre pour over, in my opinion at least.

Went in this morning with my bestie on our walk to work, and I am pleased to announce that I think I found my new coffee shop! Theresa, the owner, immediately introduced herself, and then proceeded to answer our questions about sheepsmilk as well as their and their baked goods — which come from Neighbor’s Corner down the street. After a sheepsmilk tasting, and much deicsion making, we came to an order of 1 almond milk capp and 1 sheeps milk capp. Our Ritual cappuccinos were steamed to perfection, and she even had an option for unsweetened almond milk, which is rare! We also got to meet the owner of Ritual, a lovely lady all around. Happy to support both women-run businesses by patronizing Wildcraft!

I stopped by here the other day after they closed. The owner came out and gave us a couple cookies. I’ll definitely be coming back here for the coffee.

It’s all about the sheep’s milk! After having this, you really start to realize how regular cow milk is so much more tart and kinda masks the espresso. I had a fantastic macchiato pulled perfectly with tasty ritual beans(nobody in the Castro serves Ritual). I also dig the tasteful design details to the place like the woodwork that Venetian plaster on the wall — classy! Kudos to Theresa and the whole team behind Wildcraft!

Ritual Coffee and Sheep’s Milk? Sign me up! This is my new go-to coffee place in The ‘Stro, hands down! I am a huge fan of Ritual coffee but there isn’t a place in The Castro that serves it — until now. I was excited to try Wildcraft today when I was out walking my four legged furry friend. I saw they had Sheep’s Milk which I had never tried before and I am now a convert. No more soy. No more almond milk. It is all about the Sheep’s Milk. I didn’t have to add any sweetener to my Sheep’s Milk Cappuccino because it had a very mild sweetness to it. Each coffee drink has two shots of espresso that comes with it but I had mine with one shot so I wasn’t buzzing the entire day and it was perfect. The décor reminds me of being somewhere along the beach — very soothing. Service is great, everyone behind the counter is extremely friendly and made sure I was happy with my choice since I had never tried what I had ordered. Looking forward to my next Cap tomorrow.

Time: 1:33pm/60°F cloudy Purpose: This place was mark about three months ago. Call came informing me that it was soft opening mode. Check schedule, it was a slow Monday. So, I’ll head over after Gus’s Market. Ambiance: Place is located next door to Giddy Candy Co in same complex. There’s no seating inside or outside just a couple of walk up counter placement. Very simple layout. Counter with LaMarzocco two chamber extractor and Mazzer grinders. Behind counter all heavy duty commercial grade equipment. The drill here is to order from inner counter and pick up outer. There’s no pastries or small bites, but today it was free complimentary snack. Shelves are mostly line with empty milk bottle and bag coffee bean. It’s just soft opening mode so there may or may not be more items after today. Staff: A crew of three that support the LGBT community. No matter what lifestyle you live in, you’ll be welcome with open arms. Friendly upbeat and knows how to put together a cuppa of joe. Warm service is what I expected from first day of opening. Every single one of them was energetic and eager to engage with customers. Cleanliness: Grade A, immaculate clean front to back. Not a drop of spill seen. Complimentary pastries were covered to prevent airborne contamination. Eats/Drinks: Small latte $ 4 with a madeline cookie(complimentary). Nothing to it, Ritual brand has that non burnt smooth taste. Foam on top has a nice layer that sticks to interior long after drink is finished. Aftertaste hinted throughout my drive back. Madeline cookie are the standard sold in tub individually wrapped. Products/Services: Bone broth, sheep-milk ice cream, Haverton Hill Creamery, ginger bread, pomegranate, persimmon, assorted cookies, espresso, latte, americano, cappuccino, drip. Whole, 2%, low fat, almond and soy milk. Coffee by Ritual. Punch Lines: Shoe box size, modest cost, personable/full staff, calm vibe, well-prepared, zippy service, can’t go wrong, worth the wait, closes early(till January 2016), no meun, limited choices, soft opening, Castro/Noe Valley, no seating. Tradeoffs: Due to size of place expansion of anything may not be suitable. This may include the pastry display from offering a wider variety of goods. Final Thoughts: When ever there’s a new café, I’m always excited. Things are looking up for Wildcraft. Since its in soft opening mode there’s not much to say for now. Come if your in the area needing a cuppa joe or bone broth(soon). Now remember this, you’re supporting a local business run by minority women owners. The women themselves and support the LGBT community as well. No shame only being proud.
