If you have art and want it presented well, Walter Adams has everything you will need. Whether it’s museum quality hand-​carved frames, specialty matting or picture hanging services, they are the compleat place to go. Nicholas and his staff are attentive, professional and have seen it all; they can advise you on the best way to present your art. Also, they can handle frame repairs, re-​gilding etc. I once had a painting shipped and it was not packed well. The glass was smashed, the frame’s gilt corners had broken off, well, you get the picture. Nicholas came over, gasped, took the package with him and within two weeks, repairs made it look like new! I would trust them with all my framing needs.

Walter Adams Gallery is the best framing establishment I have found. Nicholas Van Beek and Nova Barton are both very professional and I have always been happy with their work. It ain’t cheap, but high-​quality hand-​crafted work never is, and art has an infinite design life, so it’s worth getting it right.

It is definitely not inexpensive — lets just get that out of the way. But believe me, you can tell the difference between custom framing by a true designer and your old stand-​by pre-​fab frames, or even a Cheap Pete’s variety (not that there isn’t a time and a place for both of these).
The variety of frames and mounts at Walter Adams is amazing — they have some truly beautiful ones to choose from. But lest you be overwhelmed, their staff is trained with an artist’s eye.
