Came here for our complimentary breakfast for staying at the Hilton. Normal selection. Normal food. Great service gets it that extra star.

This bar/restaurant is inside the Hilton at Fisherman’s Wharf. I had dinner her on two consecutive nights. Both times the food was very good and the service was excellent. Like the hotel, the prices are a bit high, but if you are already staying at the hotel and don’t feel like going our, this is a good option.

Located in the Hilton Fishermans Wharf. Its actually just the hotel bar not an actual wine bar per se. And they dont try to be. Staff is attentive and frendly. Been there for business every january for the past 2 years and still good. They have limited hours(i cant remember when they open but the close at 11:00PM) If you want another bar after this one closes there are a few on Columbus that are walking distance. Who knows with new owners(just noticed an ABC change of ownership sign @ the hotel) they might change the name of the bar. If you want a Hilton with a wine bar, the Financial District Hilton has one, i dont know if Union Square has one also… If you are staying at the Hilton Fishermans Wharf, its a nice little bar.

Intrigued by the name, we stopped in after a day of schlepping relatives around the Fisherman’s Wharf/Ghiradelli Square area. Super nice service and mellow(ok, dead) atmosphere, but no wine list, only 3 reds and 2 whites(Kendall Jackson and other standard fare). In a foodie/wine town like San Francisco, it’s almost criminal to have a name like that with such a pathetically lame selection. Don’t be fooled.
