This one’s hard to rate since I don’t usually shop at Asian video stores. I thought it was a dollar store based on the name and the homemade signs. You don’t rent movies here, you buy them. I know they have Korean DVDs, some of which have English subtitles, but the packaging isn’t in English so I can’t tell what the movies are about. The selection of DVDs is small and the store is clearly aimed at young Asian adults, teens and kids. They also sell Asian snacks like Pocky, Yan Yan, beef jerky and candy — but the prices are on the high side. Then, consistent with the name of the store, they carry a variety of random things like phone cards, unattractive silk scarves, gift bags, paper napkins, toilet paper, balloons, picture frames and candles. The selection of everything is limited and not particularly cheap. If you come here during the grand opening sale, you’ll save 10%. It just opened this week. Cash only.
