I hate how everytime i call this place to reserve a room, its always booked. I hate walkin there and the whole room is filled with smoke! Even when u walk pass the door downstairs it smells like shit. I know for a fact the restroom is hella grimey though. HAHAHAA I give this place a 3 stars because I actually dont mind coming here but shit its pretty nasty.

well. i mean there’s many places in S. F that you can go and drink and sing. this is not gonna be my first choice. I was a regular at B.C.(the previous ownership.) i don’t know what’s up with all these owner thinking? i mean if you gonna have a service business, than hire someone that can actually provide better service. i was there one night, and was rushed out by the workers. she just told me to leave so not to hinder her off hour. oh one more thing. the server looks at you different if you’re not dress like a FOB.

I would give it more stars if the prices were cheaper. We had the VIP room from 10 – 12:30 am and it cost us $ 220 dollars! Maybe it’s because they knew we were drunk and didn’t care that they charged us more, but nonetheless it’s a rip-off. I love their desperate attempt to stop people from smoking and drinking by putting signs everywhere that says«No Alcohol, No smoking please». But everyone was smoking in the hallways and their rooms. And the guy behind the counter poured our drinks into a pitcher and brought it in for us so it would look like we’re having orange juice. Delicious, foamy, orange juice. If you just want a place to drink and smoke at with some friends at night this place is okay. But be warned there is a strong smell of cigarettes everywhere, and the song selections aren’t good either.

This place blows. I remembered that when I used to come here in freshmen year happy hour for a small room was like $ 9. Then after vbox took over it’s $ 12.5 for a small room during happy hour. +: they take reservations. they have updated their english songs selection. -: smells like shit. bitchy workers that say you have to tip them because you had alcohol. I would rather go to Fillmore Karaōke because it is like .50cents cheaper and they don’t have a strong smell of ciggs when you walk in.

Formerly known as BC, it’s just the same, but redecorated. I really like what they’ve done to this place. Looks really contemporary. Since it’s the same as BC, THEMUSICSELECTIONHERESUCKS! They only have the old school songs from back in the day, but if you sing Chinese songs, this is the place to go. I was here at a birthday party in January, birthday boy threw up on the floor, had to pay $ 30 extra. Boo. Good thing my boyfriend negotiated so we didn’t pay the full amount.

Well, they are very clean indeed and the price is pretty reasonable, cheap at happy hours. But mann they need more English songs! If you sing mostly chinese songs then this place will be great, they have dices in each room for games and they provide a lot of services. And I do think people smoke and drink at this place, normal huh?

need i say more? the rating speaks for itself, «eek! methinks NOT!» this place is just a refreshed version of BC… if you have had ever been to BC, you’d know how horrible that place was. the refreshed version is of no difference, second hand smoke, smell of alcohol, and the fugly interior design(i’m sorry, but i’m not a fan of the cheap plywood board design in the room as insulation and or to dampen noise with). their so called«state of the art» stereo system is subpar, if not a total failure. even my car has stronger bass and clearer treble than their system. if you think that’s worse, wait till you try out their wired mics… it didn’t work for half of the time, and the plug would just fell off by itself. i’ve been to karaōke in hk, macau, tw, and even china and have yet to see any of them still use wired mics anymore. the songs provided are most, if not all, bootleg pirated copies. come on! you can even see the«DIY» watermarks on some of the music videos(ex: leo ku’s long-winded 12 mins cantonese song, and plenty more). i’ll let the FBI to handle THAT part. pricing was very confusing, too. i was there last week and spent two hours in their second hand smoke scented room, and their failing attempt to cover it up with air fresheners. im allergic to second hand smoke, so i’m very sensitive about its existance. mind you i also smelled a fainting hint of alcohol, too. upon paying, the clerk at the counter NEVER attempted to informed us about the specials, ergo i paid the full price. then my friend told me about the discount and extra hour deal and i was mad, and felt stupid, obviously. i voted smoking as «yes» simply because they do not attempt to enforce their«no smoking» policy very well. in short, this place is an absolute failure… i sing karaōke at least once a week, and never will i visit this place again. recommendation: newface or voiz, they both kick serious ass compared to this place…

i rather go to voiz. décor is a bit gaudy. there was a strong, pungent smell of smoke, which leads me to think that someone was smoking in the halls. the song selection and sound system remains the same as the former BC. the tv could be larger. well, it’s better than before.

Formally known as BC, but remodeled. I love this place. I like the ambiance and décor of this particular karaōke joint. It’s not super bright like Voiz but it’s not super dark like New Face. It’s colorful but not too colorful. The prices are pretty fair too. They don’t try to rip you off like New Face does sometimes. The location is convenient which is a plus. Good comfy place to chill, drink, karaōke, and fun =]
