This place far exceeded my expectations. Wow, what a great sandwich! I was torn between the lamb sandwich and the portabella sandwich and since I wasn’t starving I opted for the portabella sandwich. The toasted focaccia bread was nice, with red peppers, carmalized onions, goat cheese and the delicious portabello mushrooms. I can’t wait to come back and try the moroccan lamb sandwich!

Amazing sandwiches and salads. If you don’t have time to take a lunch, order ahead and they will have it ready for you within 10 – 15 minutes. The Brisket sandwich and Chicken Caesar get 4 thumbs up, plus the staff is very friendly!

Last day today. 8÷21÷15 Guess everyone retires at some point. Thanks for all the great lunches. Kick butt in school. Going to savor this last turkey sandwich at v-105.

Walked in today and asked for the breakfast menu and the girl rolled her eyes and pointed to the trays of food on the counter where flies were circling over«Clearly we’re busy making all these sandwiches so we’re only serving coffee». I honestly don’t get businesses that actively turn away paying customers. Or who have staff that lack the finesse to handle the situation with more tact. The food is mediocre. Previously I spent Ten dollars for a sandwich and some chips. Plus a side of shade. No thanks.

Olivia and her family run a sweet little spot here. The name is forgettable, but the food is quite good. I LOVE their kale and white bean salad with chicken. Yet every time I call in to order this salad to go I ask for no dried cranberries, and every single time there are dried cranberries in my salad. Arrgh! So frustrating. Also, you guys should be open on the weekends!

I’ve been eating here for lunch since they opened. The food is always a wonderful balance of delicate and hearty. Sandwiches usually leave me heavy, but their sandwiches are filling without making you feel like you’d pass on dinner. I’ve ordered everything off the menu. My selection usually is a ½ sandwich with soup. They always include a arugula salad with it. Perfect!

One of the few places offering coffee early in the morning. $ 2.5 for a large cup of black coffee. The exterior looks pretty inviting. The interior is warm and cute. A cosy café to grab a drink or breakfast. Only had a take away coffee so I can’t comment about their food. Coffee wise, unfortunately, was a bad one. Was warm but tasted diluted. At least it wasn’t pricey. Service was pleasant. Greeted with a big sweet smile which is lovely for a morning.

Good spot for lunch if you are in the area. Unique menu, good portions, and good service. Great local lunch spot. I usually get the turkey sandwich, I’ve also tried the brisket sandwich, and grilled cauliflower. Good lunch food!!!

I had the turkey sandwich and chai tea. The little side salad that came with it was also very good. This place is good! It’s good! But this is not the place I would spend standing in line, like Ikes. If someone suggested this place for lunch, I would say yes. But maybe not more than that.

My mother and I dropped by V-105 to grab a quick lunch while wandering around SoMa. I got the chicken breast sandwich and while it was good, it didn’t «wow» me. The idea of a housemade foccacia used on a sandwich sounds good in theory but wasn’t in practice. Both my mother and I spent time fighting to keep our sandwiches from falling apart before we could get them in our mouths. The beverages, on the other hand, were quite good. The lemonade was unlike anything I’ve had before and it was clear it did not come out of a box. Their chai latte is also tasty, but be prepared for it to be scalding hot. It took a good while for it to cool down before it was drinkable, but I wouldn’t consider this a bad thing. I’d much rather have a drink that’s initially too hot than one that’s not hot enough. Just make sure you don’t try driving with one tucked between your legs anytime soon. Overall, I don’t think I’d go out of my way to eat at V-105 but I would come back if it was convenient.

THEBESTSANDWICHINSF, HANDSDOWN! *Disclaimer: I have not yet tried Ikes!* That Portabella mushroom sandwich from V-105 is a vegetarian dream, let me tell you. Now first of all, I didn’t even know about this place. So mad props to my friend Valerie D for suggesting it! Second of all, V-105 is a SUPERGEM for sandwiches, salads and chai tea in San Francisco. So now you know what I ordered: Sandwich, kale salad, and chai tea :) Everything was 5-star fabulous for a two $$ price. The focaccia bread they used on the sandwich is melt-n-your-mouth to die for! Not to mention that the chai tea — that happens to be pre-mixed — is a perfect compliment. Kale salad? I always love kale so I could be a bit biased. But I thought that the salad was exceptional. Any-hoo, it’s a really casual walk-in café kind of joint. You just walk in, order, sit down and wait for your food. Just one itty bitty little caveat: The neighborhood is a bit skanky so just beware ;)

There are a ton of sandwich spots for lunch in the downtown area and recently I have been unhappy with most of them. As such I didn’t have very high hopes when trying out this place for a lunch adventure. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Got the brisket sandwich. It had what all the other sandwiches I’ve had recently lacked. Great flavors that made a nice balance without having one of them overwhelm the others. It had a variety of textures, the bread was really great here. Slightly toasted but would flake off when bitten into. Finally, taking one bite wouldn’t rip the sandwich apart. The brisket fell apart into very even mouthfuls. I was able to get through the entire sandwich without any of it falling out. The only downside is that even though the outside says they have wine they don’t anymore.

I stopped by to get an iced latte on my way to the DMV and the first sip I was like, «Holy crap. This is the best latte I’ve ever tasted»… and then after that, it wasn’t that great. I kind of think their ice cubes change the flavor of the drink a little bit. Besides that, it’s cheaper than all the other fancy places down Valencia. It just sucks because it’s closed on the weekends :(

4 stars, and 5 napkins! Not open on weekends I am a avid follower of Unilocal superstar Cherylynn N. She gave this place 5 stars and recommended the lamb sandwich. I must admit I was very tempted by the beef cheek and the crispy pork belly — but Cherylynn said«lamb» — so — per her directions, I ordered the lamb. She’s spot on — the toasted foccacia bread is great, but man o man what a mess, bring some wet naps… or maybe they should just install a shower! The proportions on the sandwich were spot on, I was worried about the fennel(not a fan) but it was part of the topping and just melded with the other flavors. I can imagine this sandwich would only improve with some great in season tomatoes. Perfect(not ginormous) portion sizes, but also on the pricey side. I won’t go 5 stars, It was a solid 4 stars. As a rule, I think a sandwich should stay together(not disintegrate) and Proposition Chicken is right down the street and their fried chicken sandwich stays together and that’s a treat(so check that out if you haven’t already). This might be my only chance to go here as they are only open during weekdays and my weekdays are about to be filled with a pesky job(HURRAH!). Will they ever open on weekends? Oh, and side note, the cashier/food runners seemed kinda disinterested… but really they are not as involved as a server would be so… no biggie.

Came here one afternoon for lunch. The chef behind the counter don’t look esp. happy that day(in part due to a customer in front of me asking for the wrong thing), but I forged ahead anyway and got the mango chai and the brisket special. They had a few flavors of chai, but curiosity drove me to the mango chai. It is sort of like drinking a really warm mango creamsicle. Very sweet(the cashier warned me of that) — I wouldn’t bother getting this again. For $ 11, the brisket while tasty only has a few thin slices of brisket, along with some other toppings. The focaccia bread is really tasty, but can fall apart on you while eating. They also have secured wifi here, measuring ~18Mbps down /3.5 up on the V-105 network. I could see myself coming back here to do more working lunches, as there’s a number of other sandwiches I’d like to try. Hopefully they are a little more generous with the meat in the others!

‘Wich don’t kill my vibe, ‘Wich V-105, I can feel your tastiness from two planets awayy The delicious sandwiches at V-105 might murder your diet, but it sure won’t kill your vibe! They offer some low-key exotic sandwiches here like their popular Lamb Sandwich and also their Crispy PorkBelly Sandwich. If you’re a health-conscious foodie, they offer a turkey sandwich. Don’t worry, I won’t call you a lame-o for choosing turkey :) I was adventurous and went for the Crispy PorkBelly Sandwich and I felt the tastiness from two planets away. The sauce made the sandwich slightly sweet, which was an interesting compliment to the overall crispiness of the bread. It feels a little like biting into a freshly baked Krispy Kreme… at least until your taste buds hit the PorkBelly! Oh yes, you can definitely feel the fatty belly oozing out through each crispy bite of the sandwich. The tasty hint of fat teases you for the first split second, and then it totally consumes you with its fine taste and luscious aroma. The price is a little high here, but I think it’s well worth a try. The sandwich is served with a side of greens so you’re getting a little bit from every sector of the food pyramid. I can’t wait to go back with my Kendrick Lamar music and just sit and enjoy my V-105… ‘Wich Don’t Kill My Vibe.
