I T-R-U-S-T this vendor implicitly. I have known these people for YEARS. They are HONEST. They are practicing Tibetan Buddhists. I had a true feeling of comfort and warmth from the moment we met. Let me give you an example of CUSTOMERSERVICE that went ABOVEANDBEYOND the«norm.» I went in on a spending SPREE! This is fun, once in a while! I spent OVER500.00 $ in the store. I used my Visa card. The vendor ACCIDENTALLY charged me DOUBLE! He not only brought it to my attention, no. He INSISTED I wait for him while he went up the street to his bank so he could pay me back! Then he did the UNIMAGINABLE– he asked me to stay and watch the store while he was gone. DIDYOUHEARME!!! I was left in the store w/his money and his merchandise; ALONE!!! He trusted me!!! He could have just locked me out and had me wait! A man came in while he was gone. I sold him a pair of earrings for his wife. He assumed I worked there. BEAUTIFULCLOTHESANDJEWELRYFROMTIBET!!! Friendly staff; to say the least, and, an HONEST vendor who actually cares about the quality of their goods. They really care about how YOU feel and are VERYPATIENT! Feel free to ask questions! I LOVE the mother. She must be in her late 80’s if she’s a day. We don’t speak the same language. But, you’d never know it. We seem to communicate VERY well. She loves fruit. So, if you’re gonna’ visit, maybe take her a peach, or, some melon? VERYHOSPITABLE. ENJOY. NOT«just a shop,» an experience. Oh, if they’re closed, come back. They do street fairs and also @ the Friday Flea Market @ Civic Center. ENJOY.

How Weird Fair is always a much anticipated San Francisco event. Howard and 2nd erupts in color, music, and contagious creativity. Everybody and anybody gets weird, goes downtown, and just gets down. This year — I arrived a little later than usual and found myself in the midst of a much happening event. The crowds were already there. The music was already in the throes of deep bass. The sun was in peak form. I scanned the scene and immediately made my way to the vendors section. It’s usually my favorite aspect of San Francisco festivals. I noticed a piercing blue ring at a small stand. I am perpetually looking for the perfect turquoise ring. I want something bold. Eye-catching. Comfortable. Classy. And something that speaks to me. This ring serenaded me with it’s natural hue and the woman helping me assured me that it was indeed sterling silver and real turquoise. It clung to my finger with just enough room to breathe. Done. I bought it on the spot. The woman continued to assure me that everything about the ring was real — from the stone to the silver. I appreciated that she cared enough to put to rest — any hesitations that I may have had. She gave me her card too. Two turquoise rings in one week — from two genuine local vendors. Love it. Trust.
