This review is for the front desk team member Ronalyn. She was very helpful and compassionate and worked towards a helpful resolution to my question even though it took some effort. Truly above and beyond. If she is a reflection of the rest of the team then I’d say you can’t lose going there.

Staff is overworked… I’ve had a few appointments at this office and every time I call i wait on hold for 5 – 10 minutes. The receptionists are very curt and not helpful. It’s also true when I go into the office. The whole office feels rushed and stressed. Even the doctor seemed in a hurry. Don’t take new patients if you can’t serve them.

I just wanted to say after calling the office, they took care of the billing problem in less than 3 mins. I also got schooled by my primary(Martin Mass, bomb ass doctor and 5 years going strong as a patient) after talking shit, and he told me that GI Docs usually don’t deal with issues of the rectum. Dr. Mass referred me to a colon rectal surgeon named Dr. Robert Bush who fixed my problem! Hallelujah! It’s been a very embarrasing sensitive issue for me, so on that note… I still think Dr. Haddad’s an ass, but here’s two stars for sending me back to my primary doctor who you said would know better than you since he’s a gay demographic doctor. LOL. Hopefully you read your reviews, and if you ever get a patient like me again you know where to send em’! Three Times a Charm! ;)

Dr. Haddad is really sweet. He’s caring, compassionate, and very down to earth. In fact, he might be the least intimidating doctor who has ever treated me. He patiently guided me through months and months of tests to figure out exactly what is wrong with my insides. Although the jury’s still out, I felt comfortable with and confident in him the entire time, and he was always willing to explain his diagnostic strategy in easy-to-understand language. During my last mysterious-pain experience, I had to page Dr. Haddad over the Fourth of July weekend because I needed to know whether I could stop taking a medication he had prescribed. He called me back right away, and although I explained to him that I had actually technically already switched to Kaiser(I didn’t have a choice), he still made me feel like a valued patient. We had a good conversation, and he even followed up the next week. What other doctor do you know who will do a free in-depth phone consult when he knows he won’t be receiving any of your business again in the future? I’m now with Kaiser, so Dr. Haddad won’t be my GI specialist anymore, but as soon as I’m a PPO patient again, I’ll give him a call. Actually, for obvious reasons, I hope I don’t ever have to see him again, but if you need a gastroenterologist, he’s your man.
