So happy that new owners took over this little market! They seem to be friendly and are bringing in some great items. This place is convenient for picking up eggs, milk, cheeses, pastas etc! They will be having fresh produce and sandwiches coming soon. They are catering to the neighborhood and asking for our support. Even feel free to make suggestions on what you would like to see them carry.

This is my go-​to place for fresh falafel and hummus when I’m in the Castro area. The owners have always been friendly and hospitable, whether I’m ordering a sandwich or getting to-​go items from the deli case.

Don’t expect a shiny rainbow welcome in this place. The disgruntled man that works the later shifts will give you a sigh/​scoff if you tell him you want a sandwich. He can’t be bothered to get out of his chair after 5pm. Around my 3rd time coming by after work, he gave me a dirty look like «oh great, it’s the sandwich guy», and proceeded to scoff once again, even louder this time. So that’s it for this place. Its a shame because the sandwiches are good.

Stopped by, planning to support a neighborhood shop instead of a chain. The clerk was inattentive, grunting instead of speaking. We chose our wine and placed it at the counter. He never even looked up. Perhaps it was because it was almost closing time on Sunday. Their credit card machine was broken, as was the ATM. Unable to pay, we left the bottle at the counter and went to Mollies, found what we wanted, and it was cheaper too! I wanted Rainbow to shine, but sadly it didn’t.

This place is the old Adorabella Market that closed. New owners came in and remodeled the place. They recently opened and have a great selection of beers, wines, etc. at very reasonable prices, sometimes the cheapest around! Mollie Stones charges ten to twelve plus dollars for a six pack whereas this place sells it for eight ninety nine. They also added a deli which is nice. The customer service is great and are very friendly and casually conversate. I definitely recommend stopping by and checking this place out!
