The Pink Lotus

I ordered flowers online for my grandmother who lives in the same city as this florist. The flowers were to be delivered Saturday before Mother’s Day. Grandma said she never got the flowers. I had to call the florist and she told me that her delivery guy didn’t do weekends but yet it’s an option for the online order? She offered refund or to deliver them on Tuesday. I told her I wanted them to be delivered even though they ruined Mother’s Day for Grandma. Then I asked her to call me when they were delivered so I“d know they were sent.
Grandma said they got delivered on Monday late and the delivery guy told her she didn’t get them sooner because there was a problem with my credit card which was a lie. The card was debited the previous week when I ordered them. Then the lady at the florist never has called me back to let me know they were delivered.
Needless to say, I won’t ever be using this company again for flowers.

I just happened to find The Pink Lotus on the first day of their grand re-​opening and I am so glad I did. It was my first time there and the store owner was incredibly sweet– she insisted I make myself at home and try some of the delicious complimentary snacks and beverages. :) There were wonderful items such as brightly colored dresses, belly dancing outfits, beautiful candles, crystals, and hand made jewelry. I purchased some gorgeous scarfs that were very reasonably priced. The feeling in the store itself was wonderful — I look forward to returning!~

yikes… i called this place asking the price range of an item and they hung up on me, saying i should go into the store if i want to know prices. i called back, kind of surprised, and they said if i want prices i should show up in person and then hung up again… kind of odd, huh?

I did not want to write a review on this place simply cus I wish I could have it be my own personal store! But since it obviously has other reviews I’m going to go ahead.
The owner here is a sweetheart! She always asks me about my day and what I did. I come in and she knows exactly what i usually go for. Earring, rings, incense & bracelets. I’m addicted to all of her stuff. The clothes are beautiful. The scarves are my taste. I’m not sure what to classify the style as maybe cross between Tibet/​Buddha/​Indie/​whatever style you like in there they have it all. I’m such a true hippie/​bohemian & I rarely let it show full on but this place lets me add touches of it to my wardrobe without going overboard. Plus its super inexpensive & that’s why I will continue to be a loyal customer. It beats walking to Haight where they sell this stuff for double or even triple the price trying to label it as «authentic» and «handcrafted» *coughing* BS!

best crystal store hands down! A very healing enviornment, and the owner knows a thing or two about crystals and how to use them for healing.
You cant go wrong here
also the meditation room in the back is very healing

awesome place. love the stones. and the ladies who work there. are so nice! i love the fact that this place also has free tea. and they have a small meditation room in the back. for some quiet peace of mind. amidst the crazyness of the city

This place is adorable. The ladies who run it are super sweet, helpful, and they have one of everything. I checked.
I actually came by on a rainy, stormy day– the door was shut, although the sign with hours said it was open. When the door didn’t budge, I peered through the windows and they opened up for me. Turns out they’re having a huge sale tomorrow (¹⁄₂₆) and they decided to close up today since business was slow. Luckily, they let me in to get some beaded curtains I’ve been looking for for a 70’s party I’m throwing tomorrow night. Phew. Don’t know what I would have done without them.
Go to their sale tomorrow– they have a lot of great things, and their prices already seem much more sane than on Haight proper, so I’d imagine the sale is really fantastic! Enjoy!
