Good Thai«comfort» food. Lemongrass chicken is amazing. Spring rolls tasty. Cozy atmosphere right on Haight makes for a nice break as you make your way around the neighborhood or come back from spending time in the park. Reasonably priced.

The citrus club is one of my favorite places for pad thai in the city and their lychee martini’s are awesome! The place is a little dark and crowded, but the food is well worth it. I have never been disappointed here.

Little hole in the wall place in Haight with some great Asian food! I loved the variety in what they served– everything from Thai to Japanese. I stopped in here on a freezing night(I’m from LA so it seemed freezing to me) for something warm & I got it! The garlic edamame was SO good but only for real garlic lovers — it’s a lot of flavor in there. I also tried the Tom kha soup which was perfectly flavored and had tons of veg. The chicken teriyaki on garlic noodles was also delicious! I also had a special, Thai basil noodles with shrimp, but unfortunately didn’t get as much flavor as I would have liked. Definitely worth 4 stars! It’s a cute, romantic little place so would be great for a date night.

My experience here was pretty underwhelming. This might be a good place to eat if you aren’t picky or you’re on a tight budget as the portion size is pretty high. We ordered spicy lemon chicken coconut noodles and it was absolutely bland… not spicy at all. The noodles were over cooked and why was there parmesan cheese on this dish? Was that parmesan or coconut? I can’t tell because it didn’t taste like anything. That really confused me. We ordered the Tom Ka soup and while it was better — still pretty flavorless.

We like to go walking a lot more lately, and often end up in the Haight, or even further. At least once, so close to Golden Gate Park, we stopped here for a meal on the way back home. My items ordered were the following: –Marmalade Coconut/Lemongrass Shrimp: Sweet peas, onions and lemongrass. Tossed in our coconut sauce with Jade(spinach) noodles –Cocktail: Cosmopolitan What I particularly appreciated about my shrimp dish were two things: 1) there was an enormous amount of green noodles for an inexpensive price, and 2) I love shrimp! That single dish took at least 30something minutes to attempt consuming, and I couldn’t finish it, but I sincerely tried to. I will be visiting Thailand for the first time next week. Out of everywhere I’ve tasted Thai food, including Lers Ros, Jitlada, Sai Jai Thai and Kin Khao, I know this is not the #1 spot for authenticity, but it is very affordable and enjoyable. Sidenote: after visiting here, I learned my grandfather lived for a time just a few blocks away. I am more of a local to the Haight than I ever knew! Final Rating: 3.5

We came in the restaurant before heading back home. It is our first time here. Ambience was good. We ordered the Vietnamese Spring rolls and the peanut sauce is a bit too salty. I ordered the vegetable noodle soup($ 9.95) and added shrimp for $ 2.50. We also ordered the Burmese Curry wok-tossed noodle. That was pretty good. The veggie noodle was good cuz it has tons of veggies. The broth though lacked taste. All in all, we had better fried noodle and noodle soup. Surprising for an Asian restaurant in SF. I have expected better food here! 2 bowls of noodle soup and 1 fried noodle dish came up to about $ 40! Prob won’t come back again…

This is some pretty damn good phở’ Tried the GF’s hot and sour veggie soup, awesome! Hope they get they get their health code issue under control. Serving food out of a dirty kitchen is gross, rude and dangerous.

Full bar with Asian oodles of noodle food. If you are looking to chow down on noodles, curry or stir-fried other noodles, then this will definitely hit the spot. Their Thai iced tea was too sweet for my liking. I love noodles and they make it good here, but it was not the noodles that I would go head over heels on. Citrus salad was spot on as well as their shrimp spring rolls. A good noodle spot!

We walked in here because it was the first place we saw after I’d said, «I’m hungry.» Smart man, that boyfriend, because he knows that«I’m hungry» turns into«I’m hangry»(hungry/angry) in 2.5 seconds flat. We sat at the counter and I ordered a big ol’ bowl of veggie soup with soba noodles: . That’s the understatement of the year, because this bowl was GIGANTOR! Maybe it’s because they knew I’d be hangry, too? It was just OK, but since I was hungry, I managed to put-away at least half of the monstrous-sized soup. With broccoli, cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, tofu, and soba noodles in a miso broth, I could’ve easily continued eating from this bowl for dinner that night(and lunch the following day). Good bang for your buck, but not as amazingly tasty as you’d hope.

The Thai spot I have begun to frequent for lunch during the work week is closed on Mondays, so I decided to try out the pad thai at Citrus Club, only a couple stores away. The ambience was dark and had a bar-vibe to it. I am a pad thai fanatic and order this dish first each time I try a new noodle joint. I ordered to go. I didn’t have to wait long, maybe 5 – 10 minutes for my order to be ready. My container was stuffed with a hefty portion of pad thai, lots of chicken and large chunks of tofu. From first glance, it looked appetizing; however, upon consumption it only turned out to be mediocre in flavor. Everything was cooked correctly, had adequate heat, just didn’t quite have that addicting pop to it that I look for in my pad thai. The Thai food restaurant a few doors down has that addicting flavor, but the portions are slightly smaller, slightly less ingredients(no tomato), and is cheaper. If only Citrus Club worked on their pad thai sauce a bit more, it could be great! Until then, it’s back to my regular spot to get my fix.

Pregnant and starving, I was craving noodles. I would literally do anything for a steaming bowl of hot noodles. So I called up citrus club and ordered take out. One Chicken Noodle Soup. How long will it take? Ten minutes. TENMINUTES??? Score. Hopped out of bed as fast as I could and ran, who am I kidding, WADDLED down there as fast as I could. It was already ready by the time I got there, and to my great delight the had wrapped everything individually(chicken, broth, noodles, bean sprouts, basil). $ 10.58? PLEASE, TAKE my money. When I got home I dumped half of it into a bowl. Why only half? Well because you need a cauldron to fit all of that yumminess into one bowl. So, long story short, I love this place. It’s an Asian fusion, so don’t be expecting authentic Thai food. Yum factor +1 Service +1 Size +1 Price +1 Take out speed +1 5 stars. Easy.

I had high hopes for this restaurant business but was disappointed. We waited approx. 25 minutes for food only to receive food that was lacking flavor. The coconut curry chicken was bland and didn’t pack the flavor you would expect from a Thai restaurant. The portion of the soup is fairly large, however the quality was only okay.
